chapter 1

It was September 23rd, 2013. Bright and sunny day. I gathered up my school supplies and put it in my backpack. "Kendall!", Mom called. "Breakfast.!".I got dressed and walked downstairs to eat breakfast. My mom had made bacon and eggs. I sat down by my sister, Ryleigh and started eating. "Ooh! Bacon and eggs! Thanks mom!", I said. "Yeah thanks!! These eggs are yummy!!", Ryleigh chimed in. After I finished up, I walked upstairs and finished getting ready. I put my ALDC bow and headband on and yanked my pink competition jacket off of the hanger. I grabbed my backpack and flute, then walked out the door and into Mom's car. We drove up to Pittsburgh Junior High and Mom dropped us off. "Bye girls! Have a great day!", Mom called to us. "Because it won't be great after you get out.", Mom muttered under her breath. "What??", Ryleigh and I called in unison. "Nothing girls. Nothing", Mom said. Then she drove off. Leaving Ryleigh and I in shock. And late to 1st period.
