Chapter Two

Melissa Vaughn POV

"Hey babies ,sorry I'm late.I forgot something in Mr Luther's class earlier and just went to fetch it.Sorry you had to wait" ,I tell my two best friends Carly and Corrin while climbing into the back seat of Corrin's car.Or death trap,whatever you want to call it.

"Its cool Liss,we just got here anyway" says Carly smearing a god afwul pink lip gloss on her lips.Corrin stares at her for like two seconds before she asks "Are you trying to make me sick?You look like a monkey,throw that shit away!"

"Just shut up and drive the goddamn car" Carly says again.

"What the fuck ,who do you think you're talking...." I lay my head on the backseat and let out an audible sigh.I swear these two are going to drive me insane before I'm 20.
They fight all the time hell I even met them while they were fighting.And of course me being me tried to stop them before they actually grab each other.Then they told me that they're just fooling around and asked if I want to join them at their table for lunch. Before I could even think of a reply I was pushed to one of the tables in the back and sat there ever since.
I can still hear them bickering back and forth and decide to put an end to it.

Like I always do.

"I had sex!" They immediately stop and look at me with big eyes and their mouths open.
"Great,now that I have your attention ,I was wondering if maybe we can leave so we can get the keys from my dad or we can spend the night in the car in the school's parking lot while you two argue about lip gloss."

"She started it", Carly said but before she could say another word I send her a glare and tell Corrin to drive.

"Why do we have to get keys from your dad?Don't you have a set?" Corrin asks me when she stopped at a red light.

"Yeah,but Dad lost his so now we have to share until he gets a new set ,whenever that is" I say and lay back on the seat again.
"Aren't you scared Liss?" Carly asks me looking back wildly.
"Of..?" I ask without sitting up.
Carly looks at me like I'm crazy before practically screaming "Your dad's keys are stolen, someone can unlock your door in the middle of the night and kidnap you or kill you and then I'm stuck with her" she points at Corrin "by myself".
"Stop being dramatic Carls ,first of all nobody wants to steal me and secondly the keys are not stolen,he probably just forgot where he put it" .

Corrin stops in front of Rossi.Inc and I get out.I hope I get to see Luca today.It's been a while since I've seen him,and he is always so nice.
And gorgeous .
But that's not the point.He's super nice and I like talking to him.
And staring at him .Oh shut up I silently yell to myself.
I push open the black tinted doors and step inside the air conditioned building.I stand in the doorway for two minutes just enjoying the cool air before walking further in.
I look around to see if I can find my dad so I don't have to ask at the grumpy reception ladies.
I spot Steve ,a friend of my dad, close to the elevator and walk over to him.I lightly tap him on the shoulder and smile when he turns around looking flustered.
"Hey Steve-o,you know where my dad is maybe?" I ask him, hooking my arm through his.
"Kiddo ,Boss-man is in a bad mood.He already fired three people today and I think more is still to come", he says looking around as if he's searching for someone or something,he finally looks down at me and says "Maybe you should call him and tell him you're outside so he can bring the keys to you yeah?"
"Okay I guess I'm just gonna..." I stop in the middle of my sentence when I see the gorgeousness that is Luca Rossi walk toward us while barking orders at the people around him.

Our eyes meet from across the room and I swear my heart stops beating.
Luca's eyes bore into my soul.
I can't breathe.
I can't hear.
I can't feel.
