I know I'm not enough but maybe for a little while we could pretend. And if we pretend we could be happy. For a little while. Then, in a flash it all faded back into reality. And I'm still not enough
i jumped at the sound of the voice i hadn't heard before. Luke and i pulled away from each other as soon as we heard the voice. What was i doing?!? Luke is my best friend!! Whatever was happening, can NEVER happen again. I was shaking my head slowly trying to process everything.
"Uh..UH Calum! Your here!" Luke said rubbing the back of his neck.
"Yeah. Apparently at the wrong time." He chuckled while we just looked like idiots.
"Ha. T-this is Olivia. Olivia, Calum" Luke stuttered. I shook his hand finally actually looking at him for the first time. He had dark brown hair with a streak of blonde, Some tattoo's lining his arms. He was wearing a sleeveless All time low tank-top black skinny jeans with a big hole in the knee and a pair of Converse. Frankly, he was hot. Like really hot.
"You can call me Liv" I said shaking his rough hand.
"Then you can call me cal" he said winking. Luke coughed kind of uncomfortably.
"Uh..Liv can i talk to you after i show Calum his room?" he asked and i shook my head yes. He walked Calum up the stairs while i sat there. it was so weird. i thought Luke was.. Was he? Everything was so jumbled in my head. I heard steps coming down the stairs. it was Luke
"Hey.." he said
"Hi' i said
"So about that thing that happened, or almost happened."He said
"I'm sorry i did that." i said "It made this really awkward. I shouldn't have leaned in. you are my best friend."
"That's not what bothered me. Liv, i know i haven't said much about it but i am gay. I know what that movie does to you. i guess since that was the first time i actually watched it i caught up in the moment." he said
"Shut up." i joked and threw a pillow at him."It really isn't that big of a deal. your right. So your still my arctic penguin?" i asked hugging him
"AS long as you keep me warm."he said
"Luke, i know we are having a moment but that made no f*cking sense" i said
"Shhh... Sure it did." he said and i laughed and let go. I heard steps. "That's probably Calum"
"No..Really? i thought it was Andy Beirsack" i said pouting. Luke just pushed me away. Calum came to the bottom step and leaned on the wall
"Hey Cal" Luke said
"Hey. So, where are you guys taking me?" he asked
"Taking you..?" i asked.
"Showing me around..Welcoming me back..Stuff like that" he said
"We should go to that place"i said to Luke
"Oooh yes!" he said
"Im confused"CAl said
"Shh" i said putting my finger to his lips but jerking it back as he tried to bite me"We've got a biter" i said as he chuckled
"Lets goo" luke said as we walked to the car. We started driving with Luke in the drivers seat cal in the back and me riding shotgun. That's when he started ask all these questions I wasn't really in the mood to answer."Sooo... Liv... How long you lived here for?"
"A bit " I answered. Why should I let him know anything about me?
"Wow. You sure picked a chatterbox didn't you?" Calum asked. "First of all. Luke didn't 'pick me' we're friends. Second, Why should I tell you anything about my life?" I huff. "Damn Liv" Luke whispers chuckling.
"Great first impressions Lucas" I whispered back patting his knee *** Thanks for waiting so long for an update guys🖤 if ur reading anymore 😂 anyway I hope your all doing alright. -Audri
