I was working on homework (or trying to) when I got a phone call. I answered to hear a familiar voice say "Hey Liv!"
"Ashton! How's life?"

"Not too shabby. How's senior year?" He asked
"Eh. So how's living with Mikey?"
"Not too great. There's only so many pizza a man can eat. By the way. How's Luke been? " he asked
"He misses you guys a lot. We both do. It's hard to lose your two best friends yknow?" I said

"Yeah I get it. But he's got cal coming over soon." Ash said
"Yeah I've been meaning to ask who that is. I know he's a friend of Luke but I don't know anything else about him"
I said
"Just wait" Ash said. Then he hung up.

"Wow. Real mature Irwin" I said and got back to work

A Week Later
"Hey mom?!" I yelled across the house

"Yeah?!" She yelled back

"It's cool if I go out with Luke tonight right?!" I asked.

"Sure! Be safe!" She yelled. I texted Luke saying we were on for tonight as my doorbell rang. I opened it to find Luke standing there.

"Did you show up before you asked if I could hang out?" I asked

"Mmaybe" he smirked "leggo" he said.

"Oooh! We should watch the lego movie!" I said. He seemed to like that idea. So we headed for his house. "So, you fixed bertha I can see?" I said

"She blew a gasket but we patched her up" he said rubbing his car. I chuckled.

"So is that friend coming over soon? I know you said he was a while back but I haven't heard anything about it." I said
"Yea me neither. I don't know when he's coming" he said. For the rest of the ride we sang to panic! Because the death of a bachelor album just came out and I'm addicted. We showed up at his house and went inside. I walked towards the smell of baked goods to find Liz hemmings.
"Hey mama hemmings!" I said and hugged her. She always smelled like spice.

"Hey girly! It's date night tonight so don't wait up" she winked. I laughed. She cracks me up.

"Well have fun mum" Luke said and hugged her goodbye. We went to the basement living room to watch movies and snack on junk food the boys of the house eat."choose a movie Liv." I chose beauty and the beast. It's a great classic. We sat down on the couch and since their household only has one blanket we were close on the couch. I leaned against Luke and he wrapped his arm around me. "Liv, I never understood why you like this movie." Luke said

"I just like it. I don't know why" I said looking up at him. He joined our hands as tale as old as time started playing. I liked at him And leaned in. I don't know why I leaned in. I guess this movie just makes me really romantic. He didn't stop me either.. Our faces only inches away. I could feel the heat of his breath on my face. He smelled like Luke usually does. Everything was just so Luke. There was no way else to say it. I guess all these things my mom was saying about Luke and I are getting to my head. He leaned in and that's when we heard someone cough

"Uh...do I have the wrong house?..."
