Chapter 18

"Kiddo." Alex says and I turn over to face him.
"Yeah?"
"Do you do school stuff, or do you need to be enrolled somewhere?" He asked.
"Yeah I'm enrolled in a school, I do my school work don't worry." I say turning back around.
"Ok," he laughs, "Jack didn't want to ask because he didn't want to seem like the bad guy."
"DONT TELL HER THAT!" Jack yells from the other room and Alex laughs.
"Too late." Alex cracks a grin, "So show me something you like."
"What do you mean?" Alex shrugs.
"I don't know just show me or tell me something you like and I'll search it because I'm an adult and I get to approve things." He says quickly.
"I like musicals." I say slowly, trying to think of something not a lot of people know. Musicals are my guilty pleasure.
"What kind." He questions farther.
"I don't know." I trail off them start again, "I like Hamilton and Wicked of course, everyone likes those, umm In The Heights, Dear Evan Hansen, School of Rock, I like some songs from Spring Awakening, then classics like Peter Pan and Annie." I cut my self off and apologize.
"AWW YOURE A THEATRE NERD!" Alex yells.
"Am not!" I protest, laughing.
"How many plays have you been in?"
"12." I answer sheepishly.
"How many have you had a lead in?"
"8." I laugh. "But that doesn't mean anything!"
"How many of them where musicals out of the 12?"
"10." I blush and go back to staring at the couch. "I don't want to talk to you anymore."
I can almost feel Alex roll his eyes. "I know how to make you upset and possibly uncomfortable." He challenges.
"Try me." I say. I hear Alex typing and a song starts.
"DONT TRY ME!" I quickly change my mind. "SAY NO TO THIS YAY GOOD JOB YOU WIN IM DONE!"

I feel like I'm forcing my self to write this story so that's why chapters are short and almost like fillers. Is anyone here even a Ham fan😂? If so I have adopted by Lin out now. Shameless self promo oops.
