Leonardo
Just one word.

That's all it takes.

It just takes one word for a tsunami of nightmarish memories to flood my mind.

I couldn't move, I could hardly breathe.

Just one word.

This wasn't me, I was stronger then this. I could've taken this, I could've fought this.

But this is me, this is now, not then. I have grown weak, I can't fight this. I am a slave, a slave to my own mind.

But I need to fight, I need to gain back control over myself. I need to grow stronger, I need to fight harder.

For Alese, for my friends, for my family, for me.

I can't let these memories weigh me down. They are in the past, there is nothing I can do besides move on.

There was a soft knock on my door with a even softer voice behind it.

"Leo?"

"Yah?"

I push my self off the floor and sat of the bed. Alese walked in and and quietly sat beside me.

"Are you ok?"

"Not really."

Her fingers curled around my hand again.

"Do you wanna talk about it?"

"No, not at all."

Alese bit the inside of her cheek and sighed.

"Leo, seriously. What wrong?"

"It's not your problem."

"You're making it my problem! You're worrying me, what is going on?"

"It's nothing! I'm sorry that I'm freaking you out, but it's seriously nothing you need to know about. I just need to take care of it myself."

"Leo, please just tell me..."

She slide closer to me and hugged my arm. I peered down, looking at her bandage hands. Small, bright red spots dotted the white cloth.

"Everything is okay. I'll be fine."

She gave me a pissed of glance. I knew she could see through my bull shit.

"Ben wants to talk to us."

"Oh great, looks like I got us both kicked out."

She shrugged

"Hopefully not."

"Well let's get this over with."

I forced myself off the bed and out towards Ben's lab. I caught a glimpse of Mac cleaning the coffee of the wall and Violet watching her with a very cheeky smile.

"So Ben, what do you want?"

He looked up from his desktop

"You may want to take a seat."

Alese and I glanced at each other with the same worrying feeling. That couldn't mean anything good.

"Are you mad about the tv?" I leaned against one of the supporting iron beams while Alese sat down next to me on the ground.

"Slightly, but we've had worse."

"Worse?" Alese asked, tilting her head.

"Oh yes, we had a girl here that set my entire lab on fire, and a boy that would frequently punch holes straight through the walls."
