Disclaimer: I don't own Night at the Museum or any of its characters. The only thing I own is Amirätah and her family.

It's dark and very cramped “... Where an I? … Mother, father? … Am I in a sarcophagus, what is happening? The last thing I remember is Ahkmed running me over with his chariot.” … I can't be dead, “AHKMED IF THIS IS YOUR IDEA OF A JOKE IT'S NOT FUNNY!” I started to bang and pound on the surface above me, maybe one of our servants will hear me and let me out so that I may tell everyone that I am okay.

“Hello, LET ME OUT OF HERE! IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE, HELLO!” I could hear movement and voices outside of the sarcophagus, suddenly my sarcophagus was forced open; I arose to a sitting position, but I can't see, I rose my hands to my face… I felt the bandages, I began to take them off. At last I could see again, I looked up and right before my very eyes is the most handsome man I had ever seen. He had gorgeous blue-ish grey eyes, lightly tanned skin and very well toned from what I could tell, he wore the clothing of an Egyptian prince which consisted of a orangy-blue Shendyt (pleated kilt), an orange and gold Shoulder cape, a red, blue and gold beaded Wesekh (wide collar), and a gold Deshret (Red Crown of Lower Egypt with uraeus, “rearing cobra”). Who is he?

“I am Ahkmenrah,  fourth king of the fourth king ruler of the land of my fathers. He stated as he helped me out of my sarcophagus with a smile upon his gorgeous face. “I am Amirätah daughter of Alamert and Sirërishita, I hail from Oasia, the Guardians of the lands of the Desert Oasis.” I replied returning the smile. I looked around and became aware that I was definitely not at home nor was I in a place that was even remotely familiar. “Um… Ahkmenrah where am I and how did I come to be here?” He stood there and stared at me for a minute before answering. “You are in a museum, in New York, but how you came to be here I'm not sure.” Okay this is all very strange… is this a dream, this can't be happening; I must be dreaming. “I shall go get Larry the Guardian of Brooklyn, our night guard, I'll be right back please don't go anywhere.” Ahkmenrah said to me as he turned and ran out of exit of the room.

****************

“Larry come here, the new arrival has awakened!” I called out as I ran to the museum’s night guard at the gate of the Hall of African Mammals, but I wasn't heard, he was fighting with Dexter the little Capuchin Monkey again because he stole his keys. “DEXTER GIVE ME BACK THE KEYS RIGHT NOW!” Larry shouted angrily at the monkey. Dexter crossed his arms then stuck his tongue out at Larry. Why does this crazy little monkey have to be so stubborn; I thought to myself. Then without warning the keys were thrown at Larry’s head, “OWWW!” Larry cried out as he massaged the spot where the keys had hit him, then picked them up off of the floor.

“Larry please come with me.” He looked at me and nodded. I led him back to my hall, but when we arrived I didn't see Amirätah anywhere, where did she go? “What did you want to show me Ahk?” “Well I was going to introduce you to Amirätah, our new arrival, but she's gone!” I hope she's alright.

“AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!” Was that her screaming, we better go check it out. Larry and I began to run towards the direction of the screaming, where could she be? Is she okay? Please be okay. We turned down a hallway and there she was, running into the Hall of Miniatures, not a second later Attila the Hun and his followers ran after her shouting in their foreign language; I understood what they were saying Larry didn't, so I had to translate for him. “They said… “Get the intruder and let's rip her apart!” “We better hurry and get to her before they do!” “Okay, come on let's go!” We ran into the Hall of Miniatures and found Attila’s men forming a circle around her, oh man I hope we are not too late. “Attila what did I tell you about ripping? She's one of us man.” I heard Larry say as we got closer. Attila apologized and commanded his men to back off and they obeyed.

I saw Amirätah laying on the floor, I rushed over to her and knelt down so that I could check to see if she was okay; because the thing is that even though she was brought back to life by my tablet ‘The Tablet of Ahkmenrah’ she can still die again because like me she is still human, even if is only during the night. If she was to die again then the tablet would no longer affect her and she would be nothing but a mummy corps within a sarcophagus.

“Hey there Gigantor what's going on!” The little cowboy named Jedediah said as he and his best friend Octavius the Roman commander approached us. “New arrival.” Larry replied. “Well looks like Ahk’s got a “new girlfriend!”” I heard Jedediah teasing, I ignored him and kept my attention on Amirätah.

I picked her up off the floor and cradled her in my arms, that's when I noticed her Snow White skin was as soft as silk, shoulder length hair that resembled the morning Egyptian sunlight, lips as red as rubies, also I noticed she was no longer wrapped in her mummy bandages instead she wore a light blue strapless top that hugged her breast and showed off her stomach, along with a long blue skirt with long slits on both sides. She is so beautiful. “Amirätah can you hear me? Are you okay?” I asked her as I brush a stray strand of hair behind her ear. Slowly she began to stir.
