Shout out to @GothNebula for helping me with this chapter so thanks so much 😋anyways on with the story. The next day I woke up at around noon and immediately jumped up. Oh no I was supposed to wake up early today to go job hunter. Well I guess theirs always tomorrow...heh😅. I looked through my small backpack and the clothes inside were replaced with the clothing I wore in high school that I left behind when I 'died' "Shadow" I said with a grin as I began to change. I walked to the kitchen and saw Shadow sipping something that smelled like coffee while staring blankly outside the window. "Hey earth to Shadow" I said while waving my hand in his face to release him from his trance. He looked up at me smiling brightly " I see you found the clothes" "Yeah" I blushed a light shade of pink and twirled around with the white plain sundress. "Oh yeah I forgot I gotta give you something" he said while exiting the kitchen. I tried to follow him but I started to feel really light headed and dizzy....."Amy,AMY"!!! I heard someone shout as I fell into darkness. "Ugh, my head hurts"I groaned as I did my best to lift myself off of the hard mattress I somehow got on. "Amy" I turned my head as I saw Shadow's face he had a very serious expression something not very common with Shadow. I slowly turned my head to look around and I realized I was in a hospital bed in a HOSPITAL. "Amy" I didn't want to look at Shadow right now, it was too painful. "AMY!!" I finally turned to look at him seeing as I couldn't avoid it forever. "Why didn't you tell me" he said with anger, curiosity and more anger lurking in his eyes. I looked away again because I knew exactly what he was talking about. "AMY TELL ME!!" I continued to hold my ground and keep my head turned while fighting back tears. I felt his hand wrap itself around the outlines of my face and slowly he turned my head towards him. When our eyes met I couldn't hold them back anymore all my tears escaped me all at once. His expression turned slightly worried. "Please tell me Amy please" he said with his eyes practically begging me to answer him. I leaned into his chest fur and softly played with it. "Ok, when I 'died'I didn't do it to escape Scrouge it was to was to escape my life and....you, then I tried to find a new love interest which is where Scrouge came in, one day he found out that I 'died ' and he used it against me from that point on and he would abuse and rape me" I said with more tears streaking my face "Until one day I found out I was pregnant and I knew I wasn't gonna put my baby at risk with that horrible man" I looked down and gently stroked my stomach. " And the reason I didn't tell you is because....I knew you would hate me and you would leave me and you would never look at me the same". Surprisingly he grabbed my shoulders and pulled me into a hug "NEVER I WOULD NEVER EVER LEAVE YOU OR HATE YOU NEVER!!!" he said with venom laced into every world "I...love you Amy" he whispered into my ear I stared at him wide eyed "I love you too Shadow" he grabbed my hand in his and we fell asleep like that holding eachother's hand while listening to eachother' heartbeat
