Chapter 1: The start of Destiny Fulfilled

     I watched as the men finished loading the tour bus up. Kelly and Michelle were already on there but I wanted a little time outside. Today was our first day on the road of our Destiny Fulfilled tour. We would alternate between the tour bus and planes while we were on the road. My phone beeped and I looked down at it.

Shawn: 32 shows until I see you, stay safe beautiful.

I smiled at the message and texted him back.

Me: Thanks, I can't wait to see you at the end of the road.

"Bey let's go everyone's ready!" Michelle yelled.

Kelly stuck her head out of the window smiling.

"Hurry up slow pants we've gotta get a move on if we wanna go sight seeing!" I laughed and jogged over to the bus, I looked back at my house. 'I'll see you soon' I thought.

I hopped on the bus and sat in the middle of Kelly and Michelle.

After 10 hours of driving we finally got to the hotel around 12 midnight. We were in Atlanta which was the first stop of our tour, we got here two days early so we could explore the city. We walked into the four seasons and our bags were instantly taken up to our rooms and we got our key cards. We headed to the elevator and all made it to our doors.

"Ok y'all I'm whipped but in the morning let's check out the mall." Michelle said, Kelly and I nodded in agreement. "Night guys" we all hugged and said our goodnights. I went straight to the bathroom to take a shower and do my usual nightly routine.

After prepping for bed, I wore long plaid pajama pants and a tank top. My curly hair was currently in a pony tail and my face was make up free. I grabbed my phone and tried to call Jay but it went to voice mail he was probably at the club.

I cuddled up with the covers and closed my eyes. After 30 minutes and 100 uncomfortable positions I couldn't fall asleep so I grabbed my phone and text Kelly.

Me: Are you up?

'She probably isn't up this late' I thought to myself..

Kelly: yeah, everything ok?

Me: yeah I just can't sleep.

Kelly: me neither, come over let's watch a movie or something

Me: Okay.

I put on a jacket to cover up my breast and put my slides on my feet.

I walked over to Kelly's room and knocked twice. She opened the door in her sports bra and spandex shorts. I walked in and closed the door.

I took off my jacket and slides and got into her bed along with her.

" I got the new movie Love & Basketball since we both couldn't sleep." She said

"Oooo oh my god I've been wanting to see this." She turned the movie on and handed me a bowl of kettle corn popcorn which was both of our favorite. We both sat quietly and watched. I laid my head on her shoulder and 15 minutes after I was knocked out..

I woke up to knocking, I slowly got out of bed and stretched. I walked across the cold marble floor.

"Hey have you seen be- Oh you slept over here?" Michelle asked. I let her in and started walking towards the couches.

"Yeah, I couldn't sleep and neither could Kelly so we watched Love & Basketball." I curled up into the corner of the couch.
