It’s a calm Monday morning at school…not for me, I’m suspended from school. Not that I honestly care about that. Today I’m plotting my revenge on Clarissa, yes that chick that got me into this stupid mess. I was going to get on the bus from the back this morning, but I decided to just walk it would be easier. I had my lucky green pin in the pocket of my torn up jeans. There was a ledge, it was a window sill. Still I could use that to climb up and get onto the roof, making a direct entrance from the front, back or sides would be totally idiotic. Really I’d get in there and be thrown out with a longer suspension or worse if I was caught they’d call the cops on me. Not that they won’t later, my plan is all set and it’s honestly kind of devious.
I climbed up onto the window sill and started to climb, grabbing onto the ledge above me. There’s no backing down for me right now. My sister of course is in advanced classes for all periods. Ain’t that great?! Nope…She saw me climbing and tried to get the teacher’s attention “Look! It’s Misty! Call the cops! Er…Do something!” She whined but when the teacher looked at the window I was already up and onto the next ledge. He shook his head “Shut up and let me teach” he snapped, I snickered because I was only one ledge above and I could hear him speak.
Soon I crawled up onto the roof only to see…Maggie and the janitor?! What the heck!? The math teacher too?! If they looked over, I’d be SOO dead, of course Maggie wouldn’t tell if SHE saw me would she? I also know Mr. Gills wouldn’t tell on me. He was a nice person, and a janitor, but he cared about Maggie and I very much. I looked for a place to hide, there was nothing up here to hide behind! They were also standing on the door that I needed to get in through! Maggie was turning her head, I jumped into a bin, it was gross cause it was the garbage bin. She looked over but didn’t see me I was hidden. My math teacher, Mr. Phillips, looked over then shrugged. They got off the door and opened it and went inside, I got out of the garbage. The door was closing! If I didn’t make it over the door would be locked. I ran over and grabbed it before it could close. I opened it again and hopped in. It’s a good thing that I’m small otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to fit in there.
Everyone was gone, the hallway was cleared, no sight of Maggie or any teachers or anyone. I did hear footsteps though they were getting closer, I panicked and ran they continued to follow me. I then hid behind the vending machine, I turned around and that’s when I saw it the circuit breaker. I tore it open and smashed it with my fists, all the lights went out. I could hear screams from the girls in the bathroom. I peeked my head out and looked both ways, no one was there, that’s when I smashed the emergency lights out. I knew where Clarissa was, she would be in the bathroom with her prissy friends doing their makeup. “It looks like a Hollywood lit up dressing room with a mirror and everything.” Clarissa stated. Her friends nodded then Clarissa’s eyes widened. “Guys…do you see that..?!” She whimpered
