I never really thought much of school. To me, it was just a place where I got my education. It was a place that I was forced to go to everyday.
With my bag on my shoulder, a textbook in hand and my hair tied into a high ponytail, I was off. The school uniform making it obvious that I had a few schoolmates who would take the same route to school.
"Jimin-ah!" A familiar voice would call. I would look to my right and see Jackson with his regular friends. I waved, slightly unsure as to why he was calling. He smiles, waving enthusiastically.
Ah.. So it was just to say Hello.
I shrugged it off, beginning to walk again. It didn't take that long until I reached school. My house was a couple of blocks down from school. I guess walking to school allowed for me to clear my mind before lessons started.
I walked past the groups that would crowd in the courtyard and in the halls, choosing to spend time with their selected friends. I on the other hand would go straight to class.
My friend, Jina, was in my class but she'd always arrive later than everyone else. But I couldn't blame her, she has to cook her little brother breakfast before coming to school. Only because her parents are only around during the afternoon because they work night shifts.
I stepped into class, going to my seat as I manoeuvred past the students who would play around. They'd throw a basketball across the class and run around as if they were little uncontrollable children.
I let out a sigh as a paper ball hits my arm. "Sorry Jimin!" Sandeul said, bowing slightly as he retrieves the paper ball from my desk. "It's fine." I murmured, opening up my textbook and flipping through the pages.
Soon, the class fills up and everybody goes to their own seats. I was relieved that everything was falling into order.
Well, there was only about twelve students in my class so there really wasn't much. But still.
"Alright Class. Today, I'll be changing your seats. Jimin, Jackson, Yugyeom, Youngjae, BamBam, JB and Jinyoung. Your seats won't be changed." She says. All of us immediately let out a sigh of relief.
It was a whole other level of difficulty to shift books out of tables.
"Herin, You'll be sitting next to Mark. Go to the seats behind Jackson." The teacher says. Unfortunately, I was seated next to Jackson. They exchanged their little hand clasp to hug gesture before Mark finally sat down.
"Mark hit the jackpot." Jackson whispers to me as he leans forward. I furrowed my eyebrows, looking at him questionably. "Herin's the prettiest girl in this class. No offence." He says as his expression changes.
"It's fine." I told him, letting out a sigh. "Sadly, she only has Chemistry with us." Jackson says with a sigh. "You seem to be more interested in her than Mark is." I said, raising an eyebrow. When I say this, his eyes almost immediately widen as he clears his throat.
I rolled my eyes, facing the front to realise that all the changes had been made. I was glad to see that Jina would be sitting in front of Jackson and I with JB.
At least I have some hope to be sane.

I got home with a waffle in one hand and my textbook in the other. I put my bag down in my room before I took out clothes to change to after I took a shower.
I finished off my waffle and hopped into the shower, cleansing myself of the sweat from the day. I changed into the fresh clothes and went back to my room.
I go over to my desk, laying out my books and stationary so I could begin studying. I sat down and took my phone, responding to some messages from Jina asking for me to send a picture of the notes I had taken prior to her arriving at school.
Then a message comes in.
Unknown : Hey Herin. It's Mark from Chemistry.
I furrowed my eyebrows, confused as to why he would text me thinking I was Herin.
Me : Uhm.. Hey Mark. But this isn't Herin. It's Park Jimin from well... all of your classes.
Maybe he mis-typed a few numbers or something like that.
Mark : Oh.. Sorry! I don't know a Park Jimin though?
I let out a sigh, rolling my eyes. Of course you don't. It's not like I've been in the same class as you since the first year. Nothing like that.
Me : We won't be talking anyway so it doesn't really matter. Hope you find Herin's number.
I left it at that, going back to the books.
