(1)Remove the phone from the water and turn it off STAT!
Warning: If it's connected to a charger,do not attempt to fish it out with your bare hands. Ask help from an adult .(2)Lay the phone on soft cloth or paper towels to help absorb dripping water.
(3)Carefully remove the SIM card, battery, and memory card while keeping any liquid from getting inside. Dry and set them aside.
(4)Wipe phone with a soft towel. Remove water as quickly as you can. Avoid shaking the phone while doing this.
(5)Use a handheld vacuum cleaner instead of hairdryer to suck liquid out of the gadget's inner parts. A hairdryer will only push the moisture inside!
(6)Place your phone in a bowl of uncooked rice for 24 hours. Rotate the phone constantly to even out the absorption process.
(7)Now, test your phone. Insert the battery and data cards. Power up the device and pray to the cellphone gods that it still works. Good luck!
