"What?! Are you freaking crazy?!" Edmond spat.

"Yes. I'm saying. I have to get my home back Edmond.", I calmly answered. Valentine remained silent.

"Ahhhh!!!!" Edmond clutched his head tightly between his hands all of a sudden. He was groaning with pain. His fangs were out. Red eyes. He was back.

"You can't. You cant do this, Castella. The Pendergraft Brothers are savages. They would kill each other. You can't. You just can't capture the alpha. He is a Pendergraft." This time Edmond was fighting the inner vampire's strength, his eyes were switching from green to red, his voice was mixed in between the raspy voice and Edmond's deep voice. He was also crying blood.

"Edmond... Calm down. We'll talk it out. Come on. Just come back." I quickly grabbed his head, and hugged him close. I felt him go limp in my arms.

"It hurts... My head hurts..." Edmond sounded like a weak child.

"Val... B-Blood?" She nodded quickly, and reached into her bag grabbing another two other blood bags just out of my reach.

"Castella. I know what this is... This is a vampire losing his identity. I know he's had panic attacks and he's tried to hide it. He needs YOUR blood." Val never looked so serious since I met her. I've never had a vampire suck my blood. So I was pretty shocked.

"I trust you with my life, Valentine. Are you sure?" she silently nodded.

I pulled Edmond away from my shoulder. He was fast asleep. Then I held my wrist to his mouth. He moved his face away, as if terrified of drinking.

"Edmond. Please?" He still kept his face away from my wrist. He was asleep. So I whispered something in his ear.

"Please, Let me save your life. I love you, and I don't want to lose you to this." After that, I felt a sharp pain in my wrist. Then a wave of pleasure surged through me, I quickly muffled a moan. Edmond still had his eyes closed, drinking gratefully, as if his life was depended on it,

"YES!!!!!!!!! Uh huh uh huh.... CASTELLA FOUND A MAATTTE!!!" just out of nowhere, Valentine jumped up dancing around the room chanting.

"SHHH!! He could still be listening!" I whisper-yelled.

"Thank me later, hun." she winked. Edmond retracted his fangs, and went still. I cast a panicked look at Valentine.

"Don't worry, Castella. He is taking what he needs. He's not going to die or anything like that... Well, if we're going to do that thing you said just now. We have to gather up as much vampires with us as we can. And I'll be able to do that in a week. Next week ok?" Valentine went right down to business. I nodded.

"Yeah, but hey, where are we going to stay fo the night?" I questioned.

"My house!!" Right after I said that, she lit up like a light bulb.

"Oh, OK... He's still asleep..." I cast a sidelong glance at Edmond.

" Wake him up! Edmond, Castella has been kidnapped!!" Valentine screamed into Edmond's ear. He literally feel off the sofa.

"Castella!" He screamed instinctly. Then he goes, "Don't do that!" He snapped at Valentine . Valentine just doubled over laughing.

"Ok, Edmond. Don't do that you wouldn't wake up....BWAHAHAHA!!!!" Edmond's face went completely red as he failed trying to tand up.

"Edmond, can you walk?"

"Clearly, I can't." he snorted.

"Yeash, no need to get an attitude. Val. Where're the wheelchairs?" I made a face.

"Right above that cabinet you're leaning on." I didn't even realize I was leaning on something until she told me. Looking up I saw a wheelchair all folded up. I quickly took It, opened it then motioned valentine to help him in. I just can't help, but wonder...Why can't he stand?

"This is the same when I was blind. People keep feeling sorry for me... I just hate it..." Edmond muttered.

Tomorrow Morning

There's something on my waist. I can't freaking move it. There's something breathing on my hair too. What the heck? Where am I?

I opened my eyes just to find Edmond shifting against me, but he was careful not to move the arm he had around my waist. Then I noticed something different.

Edmond's veins glowed gold. They were everywhere, It stretched across his face and his neck. I clearly was panicking. What was going on? He growled in his sleep. Then woke up.

"Caste-, Wh-What is that?" Edmond woke up. Green eyes almost bulging out of their sockets at the gold veins. I didn't know what was going on either.

"I-I don't kn-know... Edmond you drank my blood yesterday... Y-You were hurt. your personality was changing.... Then you hunched over screaming. Seconds later you were asleep... You couldn't wa-walk..." I saw his eyes blaze with anger for a second, and it disappeared only with a look of compassion.

"I-I remember... My head hurt after that... But it was the only way to make him disappear... I shouldn't have done that..."

"Why?"

"Because... The curse is still inside me..."
