Keep fighting, sister...

My wings are sore. I could feel them even though I don't even see them. But I'm pretty determined to count on Valentine on gathering a few vampires for getting the werewolves out of my house. So, I went shopping with Edmond. Valentine asked us to go.

"Castella? Why are we shopping?" Edmond sounded so innocent.

"Valentine is a really strange person..." I answered mysteriously.

"Well... I know that... Can we go shop for shoes? These are killing me..." He looked down at his shoes. They were stained fully with mud.

"Oh ok! I want some new shoes. And flats. Or some running boots."

"Girls... I would never understand them..." He muttered.

"HEY!!! Boys are confusing... They are so protective... SOmetimes they could be an ass....Not that you're one of them..."

"Well I can be one too... Woahh.... Those look awesome..." Edmond stared at a guitar on display in the music store. He was literally pressing his face on the glass.

"You play?" He nodded.

"If I buy you the guitar will you play something for me?"

"Yes!!" He was like such a child. Asking his mother for something nice in the store.

"Ok.. Acoustic, Elect-"

"Acoustic?"

"Sure, Edmond. It's... Hm? That's weird it's only like $ 160.99... That's on sale. Lu ky we got here. Now you'll play something for me right?"

"Yes... I have a few ideas... It's been ; like two years since I played anything on the guitar. So, I'm ok!" I gave the cashier the credit card that Valentine gave me. She was staring so intently at Edmond that she almost missed sliding the card across the keyboard. I gave her a threatening look.

"Ok, Have a nice day!" I could tell from her voice it was strained. I quickly walked Edmond and I to the shoe store.

Through out the day, Edmond was pretty carefree. He was wearing the guitar case over his back. It actually came with the purchase! We shopped for so much stuff that we needed to roll a cart down everywhere to the car. I think we were there for too long.

While at the car ride...

"Castella? About that song... What do you want to hear?"

"Anything that sounds soft and not loud. I want it Peaceful... Oh my gosh I bet I sound like an angel now huh?"

"..Yeah, you do... I hate it whenever it's too loud." We backed into the driveway. We packed everything to the kitchen... Which felt like forever.

"Where did you guys go? What did you do? Have a very long make out session?!" Valentine ran into the kitchen, ready in her pj's for bed.

"No! We were.. SHOPPING! Gosh... If it was you and Kyle you would be the same. Plus you already know about... You know.. Relationship..." I whispered the last part for her to hear. Edmond was on the stairs, already trying out his new guitar.

"Edmond, you like a little kid... I never noticed you played guitar either." Edmond seemed t light up about the mention of the guitar.

He goes, "Yeah, I owe singing Castella a song. I'll do it later when we're about to sleep. Ok?"

"Y-Yeah sure..." Valentine had this look like Lovebirds...

"Shut up, Valentina."

"What? I didn't say anything..." She still was smirking like an idiot at me.

"Let's go, Edmond. I need to change for sleep. Come ooon!" I was blushing furiously, pushing  Edmond up the stairs.

"What's wrong? Castella?"

"Valentine is being a cupid... Nothing in particular. Get the new pajamas... OH MY GOD I DIDNT BUY YOU A FREAKING SHIRT." What the crap did I just forget?!

"Nah that's ok. I'll stay under the sheets so you don't have to see me." I felt bad after saying that as I walked in the bathroom to change. So, I went outside the bathroom to find Edmond on the lime green bed, shirtless and clutching the guitar , and also glaring at me in this weird way.

"S-Sorry Edmond that was so inappropriate to say..." He only smiled at me, and patted the space next to him on the bed. Valentine told me to let me sleep next to Edmond in case an episode attacks him in his sleep again.

"What about that song, eh?" I nodded, positioning myself under the sheets next to him while he strummed the notes softly on the guitar.

(A/N Start playing music right here ^^)

So your friend's been telling me

You've been sleeping with my sweater

And that you can't stop missing me

Bet my friend's been telling you

I'm not doing much better

'Cause I'm missing half of me

And being here without you is like I'm waking up to

Only half a blue sky

Kinda there but not quite

I'm walking around with just one shoe

I'm half a heart without you

I'm half a man at best,

With half an arrow in my chest

I miss everything we do,

I'm half a heart without you

Forget all we said that night

No, it doesn't even matter

'Cause we both got split in two

If you could spare an hour or so,

We'll go for lunch down by the river

We can really talk it through

And being here without you is like I'm waking up to

Only half a blue sky

Kinda there but not quite

I'm walking around with just one shoe

I'm half a heart without you

I'm half a man at best,

With half an arrow in my chest

'Cause I miss everything we do,

I'm half a heart without you

Half a heart without you,

I'm half a heart without you

Though I try to get you out of my head

The truth is I got lost without you

And since then I've been waking up to

Only half a blue sky (only half a blue sky)

Kinda there but not quite

I'm walking around with just one shoe

I'm half a heart without you

I'm half a man at best (half a man at best)

With half an arrow in my chest

I miss everything we do,

I'm half a heart without you

Without you, without you, half a heart without you

Without you, without you, I'm half a heart without you

I felt my heavy lids close, and Edmond tucked both of us in the bed for the night. He had that good of a voice.
