Break Down And Cry...

I sit there in my bed. Its eleven o'clock at night, raining really hard and I haven't talked to Grayson in a couple of days. I haven't shown up at school and I turned my phone off. I don't want that dream to come to a reality, but it just keeps on showing up. I don't want something so unfaithful to be truthful. I listen to the sound of the rain trying to clear my head of those thoughts. 

I hear knocking on my door and ignore it. I just throw my face into the pillow and try to cancel out the noises. 

"RAIN ANSWER THE DOOR!" i hear a feminine voice yell. 

I didn't recognize the voice so i grunt and slowly get out of the bed. 

"RAIN PLEASE OPEN IT UP!" She sounds as if she is going to start crying soon. 

I open up to see a girl with a familiar face but I couldn't put my finger on it. 

"Rain, it's Grayson! I know you probably don't know me but I'm his older sister, Cameron. Ethan told me where you live to see if you knew where he was." She says with her eyes tearing up looking very desperate.  

"Come on in." I say opening my door more up. 

"thank you." she walks in

I walk over to the table and pat at it indicating to sit there. I open up my cabinets and grab the hot chocolate mix. Putting water in a pot and boiling the water, I walk over to Cameron and begin to talk to her. 

"You guys haven't seen Grayson?" I say sadly

"No one has, we were hoping that he was at your house or something." 

"Grayson and I haven't talked in a couple of days."

"So im guessing he hasn't told you of what happened. " She says looking down to the ground depressed. 

"Tell me what??" I say in suspense 

"O-Our dad died from Cancer about two days ago." She says as tears fall from her eyes. 

"Wait what?!? I knew about him being in the hospital but I thought he was cleared! Grayson kept going on and on about him being released in a day or two!?!" I say raising my voice from hearing that. 

"The cancer c-came back last second and they didn't see it, so it k-killed him. " she puts her face in her hands and begun to cry. 

I walked over to her and hugged her tightly as she sobs in my arms. I rub circles on her back like Grayson did in the tent.

---FLASHBACK TO THERE ADORABLE DATE---

Grayson POV

She fits in my arms perfectly. I never could be more happy about her being with me at that very moment. I hodl her close to my heart, her hand rested on my chest. 

I whisper lightly, "I can't wait for my dad to be released. You will get to meet him, then we will go to the Lake my dad took me to as a kid and we will go fish. My dad will tell you all of the stories from when we went fishing here, then I will tell him to stop embarrassing me and you will laugh."

I kiss her head and rub her back forming a heart. I look at her to see a small smile form on her face. 

"We will visit that lake every weekend like my dad and I did, so you can see the beauty of the lake, and I can see you. "

I lower my body and fall asleep. 

Rain POV

He will never know of how much I love him, he tells me of all the love he has for his dad, I wasn't asleep. I listen to his heart beat as he speaks of his dad. 

He kisses my head and rubs hearts on my back, I love when he does that, i smirk in happiness.

He whispers "We will visit that lake every weekend like my dad and I did, so you can see the beauty of the lake, and I can see you. "

and falls asleep with me. 

---FLASHBACK END---

I hold her and begin to cry myself.

"I'll find Grayson, here you can sleep in my room, i can sleep on the coach. "

She nods and help her to my room.

I come downstairs and notice i left the water boiling. I grab two cups and pour all the ingredients for hot chocolate in them. I grab Cameron's cup and walk upstairs. 

"Um Cameron, I have some hot chocolate for you. I'm coming in."

I walk in to see Cameron leaned over sleeping crying on the ground. Her phone screen lit up next to her. 

"Cameron! Everything is going to be ok! I promise you!" I say coming down to her 

"It's not that rain!" She says showing me her phone 

"My mom found this in his room." She says covering her head again. 

I look at the screen slowly. To see a picture on there and I click it. I see a letter and read.

Dear Family and Rain, 

You all must know about what has happened with dad. I know he doesn't want us to hang our heads on it. But I can't just ignore him. I loved him so much, and I know you all did too. But he was the only one who understood me. I can't handle not hanging him with me, so I'm going to join him. 

Rain, I know you are going to hate me, but please. Go out and find someone else. Someone who lovesick you more than I ever could, you deserve someone so much better than me. I can't help but think of all the things we could've done together with my dad. Or just me and you, get married, start a family. Anything with you would make me happy. 

I want to join my dad in the place we both loved the most.
