Zodiac - The truth

Aquarius

Her mum should have been back by now. Not that she was worried. Her mother often left, sometimes for days at a time. Aquarius was too independent now to care. But it was still lonely. Her phone buzzed, the ringtone (Moves Like Jagger) rang shrilly from where her phone sat on her blue bed. She checked who it was before answering it. She could not be bothered with her dads whining. Capricorn's low voice hurried to her ear.

"Slow down Cap, I cant here you, what's up?" She said as Capricorn paused for breath.

"I said, Scorpio just collapsed and the others are here. We need your help" She paused "PLEASE AQUA" She shouted when Aqua did not respond at once.

"Alright, alright. Im coming. I was just shocked thats all." She hurried to her door, threw it open. Flying down the drive she pocketed her phone and grabbed her jacket from the garage before she dashed down the street, earning herself a disdainful glare from her neighbour Edith, who was about 80 odd. She rounded the corner and grabbed her bike from the pile. All the kids on the street kept their bikes there. 

Her legs burned as she peddaled faster, faster. Down the hill. Shit. A car came pelting around the corner at her, she had no time to brake. Luckily the driver did, he rolled down his window, swore colourfully and carried on up the hill. The kids all lived in the same village so Capricorn lived relatively close. She pulled into Capricorns drive. Taurus stood there, biting her lip, she waved at Aquarius but she was pale as a sheet. 

Aquarius strode into the living room, she saw several things at once. Pisces and Cancer were crying silently in one corner huddled together on the big chintz armchair. Aries and Leo were kneeled next to Scorpio, who lay on the couch. Sagittarius, Capricorn and Libra stood in the middle of the room whispering. Gemini was pulling a bandage from a steel box on the mantelpiece. Taurus went to help help her but Virgo was not here. 

Aquarius went to the group in the middle and Libra went to comfort Pisces and Cancer. Aquarius could not remember a time when they had all been in one room together so quietly. She and Capricorn exchanged glances. Sagittarius went into the Kitchen to see why Virgo was taking so long. She was supposed to be phoning the ambulance but it was taking a while. 

"What happened?" Her voice even sounded worried to her own ears.

"Oh he obviously thought he would say hello to us and a brick hit his face." Capricorns voice dripped with sarcasm. When Aquarius pointed this out, Capricorn just smirked and went over to Scorpio. Little Bitch. Sarcastic and smirking while Scorpio could be on his death bed. Mind you, if she were, she knew more than any one that Capricorn would not have been sarcastic and definitely would not have smirked. If Capricorn felt no major cause for worry than she neednt either. But still, she wasnt used to Scorpio being so quiet unless....... well no, even during tests he still whispered, asking for help, lightening moods. Aquarius smiled, she couldnt help it, she was glad no one was looking at her.
