The rose-pink light of dawn shined bright which meant that it was time to go. Gabe woke up and yawned "Clem, wake up" he tapped Clem's shoulder softly. Clem woke up and groaned.
"ugh, morning already?.." AJ woke up and looked at them with an adorable smile and yawned. "Cmon AJ hop on" the little goofball got on Clem's back. Gabe got his backpack ready to go.
"Okay, time to go" Gabe glared at Clem with a sly smile. They got back with the rest of the group. "Ready to go?" Javi asked them determined. "Yeah, let's go" the group agreed. The sound of engines started and they got back on the road. Gabe and Clem start talking. "So, do you think we made the right choice?." Gabe looked out of the car window with concern.
"I think so, we had to go sometime otherwise" Clem crossed her arms and smiled at Gabe. "You're right, as long as we are together that's fine with me" Gabe looked back at her with a nice smile. Clem cleaned little AJ's mouth since he was eating some pudding. "There you go little goofball" Clem gazed at Gabe's deep-brown eyes. "Want some pudding?" Gabe gazed back at her bright yellow-green eyes. "Sure, I'm starving" Clem passed a cup of chocolate pudding to Gabe. "Yum, thank you" he grins at Clem with excitement and starts devouring the pudding. Clem lets out a little laugh.
"Hehe, seems like you really love pudding." Gabe's mouth was stuffed so he mumbled "mhm, good" he got a spoon full and handed it to Clem's mouth, she ate it with smile. "So, how are you two doing?" Javi looked back at them with a smirk while Kate was driving. Eleanor and Tripp were right behind them in the other truck. "Uh, we're fine I guess" Gabe rolled his eyes and looked away with a stiff look. Javi nodded "aha, sure, how about you Clem?" She crossed her arms "I'm good, but we should stop and look for supplies. I'm running low on ammo." Javi agreed with Clem. "Sure, good idea" Javi continued talking with Kate. Soon, the group traveled out of Colorado and they stopped for the night. The moon was enormous up in the sky with a starry view. They were at a cabin with trees all around with a road that lead South. "Javi, let's head inside the cabin there might be suppiles inside" Tripp said energized. "They head to the cabin with caution. A walker appeared and tried to attack Clem "shit, help" Gabe got his axe and hit the walker's head. He helped Clem up, "Thanks Gabe" Clem blushed a little. "No problem, we got each others back" Gabe got closer to Clem and caressed her cheek gently. Then the rest of the group got in. "Ohh, hey glad you're both safe" Kate looked down at the dead walker. "The cabin is safe, let's prepare for the night." Eleanor explained. "Sure thing" Javi nods. The group got the cabin ready, they lit the fireplace and collected the supplies that were inside. Javi and Tripp guard the priemeter. Kate cared for AJ while talking with Eleanor around the fireplace. Gabe and Clem sat on the bench outside the cabin porch.
"Hey Clem" Gabe glanced at her with a smirk. "Hey, how have you been?" Clem looked at Gabe with concern.
"Well, I'm still thoughtful about things, for what has happened..." Gabe wrapped his arm around Clem. "We're in this together, we just have to be strong." Clem laid her head on Gabe's shoulder.
