The New Frontier got out of the vans and pointed their guns at them. David walked closer to the group. "You have to come with us whether you want to or not" David demanded. Gabe could feel the weight of all his dad's words drop on him. He took a deep breath, all Gabe thought about was to protect his family. "We sure as hell aren't going with you!" Javi yelled with anger. "You don't seem to have a damn choice" One of the New Frontier commanders demanded. Gabe held Clem's hand tight, he didn't want to lose her. "Huh, have a connection with this trader! Wow, you really are a disappointment." David felt even more furious. When Gabe heard those words "you're a disappointment" he felt weak to his knees, but he stood up and confronted his dad. "Leave her alone asshole!" Gabe hissed at David. The New Frontier leader pointed his shotgun at Clem. "Come on Gabriel, she is worthless, you little trader" David ranted. "Fuck off David!" Javi and Kate yelled. He slowly began to pull the trigger, aiming for Clem. She closed her eyes and covered AJ. "NO Clem" <gunshot> Gabe got shot in the shoulder by pushing Clem out of his fathers range, he felt agony and sweat, but he was glad Clementine were okay. "Gabe! No!" Clem yelled. Javi and Kate felt horrible. David covered his face with regret. It all went by so fast, like a blurry flashback. Gabe just felt buzzing sounds all around him and fell to the rough ground. Someone carried Gabe running with heavy breathing and shootings heard all over, all he wanted was for his family to be safe. <gunshots>
A few hours later
"Gabe! Gabe wake up" he got up and groaned with pain.
"Clem? Where are we?" Gabe saw Clem and AJ, they were in a car drifting off. "We got attacked, you're father captured Tripp and Eleanor, we tried to help them and escape but.. we got separated and it all went down to shit" Clem explained. "Oh shit, I hope they're okay.." Gabe frowned with a tear rolling down his cheek. "T-thanks for saving my life back there" Clem kept her eyes on the road. "No problem, we stick together remember" Gabe let out a small smile. He was still worried about his family. "Gabe, it's gonna be okay and don't worry. I got the bullet out, like Eleanor taught us. You'll be fine" Clem smiled with optimisum. He smiled back at Clem and little AJ fell asleep on Gabe. "Heh, he's a cute kid" Gabe felt better. "He sure is" Clem felt warm-hearted. "First things first, we need to look for supplies, and after that we get prepared and look for your family" Clem explained "sounds like a plan" Gabe felt hopeful.
