Chapter 3

My mind was flowing with questions. I mean.. Seriously, did Cathy just use me? I thought we were good friends! Red was holding my hand, which kinda calmed me down. I nearly got killed! How did that happen? We ran down the hall, and then down the stairs. I looked back and saw at least 10 other members from Team Skull. They took out knives, and seconds later, everyone was on their feet, running after us to get away. People were yelling so loud, I thought my eardrums would burst. We reached the stairs that lead towards the emergency exit. I felt my hand slipping from Red's grip. But he just squeezed it tighter, i did too. He quickly opened the door and pulled me outside right after him. We ran into the jungle that was right outside the school. It was a sunny day, not a cloud in the sky. I was able to see the beach at the other side. It was covered by buildings, but the water was visible a bit. The ground underneath my feet gave away. Red and I were falling! We fell about five feet down, and then started to roll down a hill. The jungle ground was filled with mud, that soon made my whole body and head dirty. I felt dirt come into my mouth. There were bushes that were in the way. We rolled into many of them. It seemed as if the hill never ended. The ground gave away again. This time we fell about ten feet down. There was bamboo and everything seemed more darker and greener. I heard a waterfall somewhere in a distance. Some wild Pokémon were chirping. I felt soar. My body couldn't move at all. Red laid right next to me, his eyes were closed. He's dirty too. Hm, I'll go give him a wash in the waterfall later on. I thought. He was breathing, which was a good sign. "Red?" My voice croaked. He opened his eyes, and slowly turned his head to look at me. "That was a one hell of a drop." He answered. I smiled, and looked down. Our hands were still tightly holding each other...
