The Artificial War.

I didn't know what that meant. I gave a confused look to the two guys in front of me. "What?" The one on the right asked bluntly. "T-The Artificial War? W-what do you mean by that?" I asked not meaning to stutter. "How do you not know what I mean?" He said. "It's means that it's fake. The people are all fake. The real ones are somewhere else." The guy on the right told me. "Whaaaat?" I asked dumbfounded. "Ugh. Never mind. It's going to be hard to explain it more than once to you." The guy on the right scoffed.

Rude. Who does he think he is? He scolds me like he was my mother. Whatever. I just want to know what happened back there, and what's going on right now. "What the hell was going to happen to me back there?" I asked with my arms crossed.

"They were going to take your organs and put them into a machine to make a new you. Next was your brain." The guy on the right said to me. "Uhhhh..." I sat there and just looked at them. "Well let's go. We literally don't have all day. Or ever." The guy on the right said. "Well what are you waiting for Pip?" The guy in the lead said.

"Pip?" I asked with a confused face. "Yeah. Helpless squeaker." He said with a sarcastic smirk. "I don't know your real name, so tell me and I won't call you Pip anymore." He said while playfully sticking his tongue out and put a finger on his cheek.

"My name's Maki." I told him. "And you?" I said with a blank face. "Kai." The rude one said with a blank face and hands in his pockets. "My name is Kanji." The other guy said with a warm smile. "Okay then, what did I say? We don't have any time for meet and greets." Kai said.

We ran from tree to tree with Kai always in the lead. The bastard kept yelling at me to keep up. I was in a hospital gown still, running with two guys away form fake people. How the hell did I get into this mess so quickly? Kai stopped behind a tree and stopped Kanji and me. "Mak." Kai said to me. "Mak?" I asked with a disapproved face. "Whatever. Anyways, you need camouflage. Take this jacket." He said as handing me a sweatshirt covered in camouflage. "Why do I need this?" I asked. "Are you serious?" Kai asked with a displeased face. "To blend in with your surroundings. Do you really want to be one of those shitty things?" Kai lectured me.

"Well can't we try and act like them?" I asks curiously. "No dumbass, they can tell the difference." Kai said. He looked like he was over me. "Fine, whatever." I said while looking at the ground. I kicked the dirt softly until Kai whispered-yelled my name. "Mak!" He whispered to me. "What now?" I looked beside me to see that Kanji was gone. I looked up, and just the moment I did something pulled me up into the tree I was standing under. It lifted me onto a branch and I looked at the thing that pulled me. Kai. It was Kai. I sighed, and looked to the right of him to see Kanji.

"God damnit Mak, I can't loose another survivor. This is why I tell you to listen." He scolded me. "Jeez, fine." I scoffed annoyed.

Well, this is going to be a bit fun.
