Why care what others have to think? Why do their words lead our confidence to shrink?
Everyone will perceive you differently based on something you couldn't even think of, Why wait for their praises, or shed a tear on their scoffs?
Who loves you will be with you till the end of life, Look for only those who will help you with your strife.
The ones who don't like you are losing on something special, Live for those who love you, just for that someone special.
Changing yourself due to other's criticism is brutality, It's impossible to please all at once - that is the reality.
But you can easily please yourself, just remove the mask off of your face, Be whatever you want, an epitome of toughness or the epitome of grace.
It is your life, nobody knows your battles, Let go of the toxicity, how much ever it rattles.

We tend to loose ourselves when others criticize us. Listening to the criticism is something we don't have a choice for but accepting the false criticism or no is in our hands. We are born to add on the uniqueness God wants on earth. Unless we aren't harming anyone we can freely be ourselves.
