For exactly 2 weeks that's the time I've spent here at Starfleet I see my brother for lunch every day. I eat breakfast with Spock and dinner with Uhura and Gaila. I spend my free period in the library and Spock comes to help me reach the high up books everyday he comes it's a routine. We go to the library then we work late on the lab. I have made 2 new friends since I've been here they live in the room my dorm is attached to. One is Uhura who was at the bar and the other is Gaila. Every Saturday I got to combat club led by Spock. He also gives me private lessons every other Sunday and my skin has gotten a lot tougher. I just read about this new combat move and I can't wait to try it tomorrow at combat class. But for now it was my free period and you guessed it I'm heading off to the library. I walked in and looked around for Spock. "Spock Spock" I searched for him. I shrugged oh well I guess he's late. I grabbed the roller ladder and rolled it up to a random shelf. I carefully climbed it all the way to the top of the 10ft high shelf. I grabbed a book then carefully used my hands to push the ladder along the shelf. I was reaching for another book when.
"Need help" Spock asked. I screamed and fell. My leg caught the ladder and broke then the ladder broke causing me to hit the ground with it on top of me. Blackness was edging my vision and I heard some one telling me not to sleep. But I was so tired.
When I woke up I had a terrible he'd ache. I heard two people talking. "What's wrong Doctor Mcoy" Spock asked.
"Well her left leg is broken along with her right ankle and 1 rib" Bones said.
"You told me what happened but how is someone so fragile like that" Bones asked.
"I promised not to tell" Spock said.
"Fine I'll ask her" Bones said.
"Don't wake her" Spock lectured.
"She is awake she heard the whole thing" Bones smirked.
"Turn the lights off and shut up" I hissed in pain shielding my eyes.
"Sorry" Bones flipped the lights off.
"Care to explain why you are so fragile do you drink enough milk" Bones asked.
"Yes and ask Jim he knows I don't want to talk about it" I gulped.
"Wait I have to tell Jim dang it" I reached into my skirt pocket and grabbed my com.
"On second thought it can wait" I shrugged and set my com on the bedside table.
"I gave you some painkillers and I'll go get you a prescription wheelchair since you can't walk" Bones said getting up and leaving.
"I'm so sorry Evie" Spock sat down and grabbed my hand.
"Its not your fault" I blushed the sparks shooting up my arm.
"Yes it is I shouldn't have scared you like that" Spock said.
"Well I'm okay now and if you really think it's your fault you can wheel me to all my classes" I smirked.
"I will do that I'm glad your okay you had me slightly scared and a little worried" Spock smiled.
"Yes" I shouted. "I got you to show two more emotions" I giggled.
"Yes you did" Spock sighed. I smirked and laughed.
"Well I guess I have to call my brother now" I sighed grabbing my com. "Jim you there" I asked flipping my com open.
"Yeah Evie what's up" Jim asked.
"Well I um had an accident" I started explaining.
"HOLY CRAP ARE YOU OKAY EVIE" Jim screamed. Me and Spock flinched and I held the com away.
