"Does anyone have idea on how takedown Nero?" I ask. This sends us into more arguments. By us I mean Bones, Jim, Uhura, and Sulu. We are all brainstorming on ways to overtake Nero's ship.
"Captains captains" Chekov taps on Jim and my shoulder.
"Yes Chekov" we say in unison.
"You say we have to sneak up on Nero's ship because if he knows we are there will be destroyed yes?"
"Yes" Jim says.
"Continue" I add.
"If my calculations are correct Nero will pass by Saturn. If Mr Sulu can get us warp 4 and drop us behind on of Saturn's moons say Titan. The magnetic distortion of Saturn's rings will shield us from Nero's sensors. Then you can beam from the Enterprise to his ship." Chekov explains and it's right.
"How old are you kid?" Bones asks.
"Sewenteen sir" Chekov beams.
"Oh great he's seventeen" Bones facepalms.
"His logic is sound captains" Spock strides onto the bridge. I grin at him. "I volunteer to board Nero's ship. Seeing as Vulcans and Romulans have cultural similarities it will make it easier to find Captain Pike and take over the ship."
"I'm going with you" Jim nods.
"So am I. I know the whole Romulan language that'll help" I step forward too.
"I would site regulation but I know you will ignore it" Spock raises his eyebrow a move that makes me melt.
"See we are getting to know each other already" Jim smacks Spocks shoulder. Spock looks confused and I nearly laugh.
"Looks like we have a plan" I pipe up.
"Not all of it there's still more" Jim interjects.
"Oh yeah what we do when we get on board" I faulter.
"Okay so the black hole device is in a ship. My idea is that come we get onboard we find the ship and Spock flies it off. Then Evie and I find Pike. While we are finding Pike Spock can shoot the drill if it gets lowered. After that Spock flies his ship into the Romulans ship but at the last second we all get beamed out."
"Jim that plan relies on a lot of chance situations." I say unsure.
"Yes well this whole thing is a chance situation. But it's a chance we have to take. There's no shame in backing out now either of you."
"No Jim I'm going with you. If anything we too happen to you.....I don't know what I'd do" I admit.
"Negative captain." I bet you can guess who said that. *Cough* pointy eared bastard as Bones calls him.
"Jim wait" I grab his arm and he spins around.
"Yes Evie?"
"If I di-"
"No you are not going to die! I will keep you safe."
"Don't make promises you can't keep. If I die I want you to look after Spock. Don't let him go too his father or the other Vulcans. There's this ritual they can do and it makes them completely emotionless and Spock shouldn't do that. If my passing doesn't hurt him enough to do it the realization his mother and planet are gone will. So don't let him."
"What Evie what are you talking about?"
"Just promise me you won't let him!" I snap.
"Okay I promise but why do you care so much. I mean I know you guys worked together but isn't that a little drastic?"
