What is he eve- ugh, how much did he actually hear from this conversation? I swung open the doors and he was standing against the rail. "What are you doing?" The mysterious boy asks. Are you serious? "What are you doing?" I whisper-yell, "I came to see you," he replies, "How'd you know this was my room?" I'm still confused as to why he's here, "Never mind that, what are you doing here? Really." I add before he can answer my last question, "I don't know. I was bored and I decided to pay my friend a visit," he says, 'My friend?' friend my butt. No he needs to go.

"I don't even know your name and you need to go before my dad or Kara sees you," I say and he steps away from the rail, "I'm still not going to tell you, no matter how many times you ask, and I can just hide, no worries." Wow! He is really getting on my nerves. "No, go now before I call my dad," I threaten, "Ooh, your dad," he shakes his hands and acts scared. "Go now," I say firmly and close the door. "As you wish. Goodnight, Nina." I open the door about 3 seconds later and he's already down.

What in the hell is wrong with this kid? Ugh! He is so childish I swear, how dare he come up to my balcony like if it was so normal? Destiny is right, I'm letting go of weird-boy if he tried to talk to me in completely ignoring. Damn you're rude. Ugh what am I saying? He's probably a really nice guy with slight issues. Maybe I should get to know him a little more, I mean, I do want to make friends, but he's kind of off, I don't know. What I do know, is that I should get to bed. Like now.

I walk to my bed and connect my phone to the charger and slipped into my bed. I closed my eyes and soon I was deeply asleep.

"Hey Nina, You mind waking Kara up?" Dad says as he serves me pancakes. "Sure." I stand up and head towards the stairs. "Kara, breakfast is ready," I say as I knock on the door. No one answers, "Kara?" I open the door and Kara is still asleep with a pillow on her head, no wonder she couldn't hear me, "Kara, breakfast is ready." I shake her slightly and she's awake. "I'm too tired," her voice is raspy. "Dad made blueberry pancakes," I say hoping she'll get up," Damn it, Nina. You're good," she gets up and I laugh at her.

"What time are we leaving?" Kara asks, "Like in an hour, so get ready quickly so we can go to as many stores as we can and to get a better look of the city," I say as I leave her room, closing the door behind me. I head to the restroom, wash my hands, and put in my contacts lenses. "Dang it!" The contact falls off my finger and I struggle to find it but Kara picks it up and places it in my hand. "Thanks." I say and clean it with solution. I finally get it in and I head downstairs to eat.

Kara joins us a minute later, "how'd you girls sleep?" dad asks, "good," Kara and I say at the same time, "until Nina woke me up," Kara adds. "Dad, what are you going to do today?" I ask before taking a sip from my milk, "Well, I was going to unpack some more of my things and maybe set up some family pictures," he says.

"Ready?" I ask Kara as she finished buckling up, "Yeah... I wish mom was here," pause. "Me too, but she's resting now, Kara. We all miss her, dad, grams, and Blake. There wasn't much we could do, you know that, right? Her body just kind of... gave up on her-,"

"I don't want to talk about this anymore," Kara interrupts, "Sorry for bringing it up." I say sarcastically. I turn on the radio and Kara starts singing along to whatever was on. "Lost and insecure. You found me, you found me. Lying on the floor surrounded, surrounded. Why'd you have to wait?" Kara and I sang along loudly.

"You think dad will let me date?" Here goes Kara surprising me with those questions again. "Uh- I don't really know, he told me he didn't want you to date at 16 because of what happened to me," I don't really know what else to say at this point. Kara and her questions. "What? Are you for real?" Kara's jaw drops. "It's not like I'm going to go for someone like James."
