Hunger Games continued: Divergent

Chapter 1:Katniss

Our Back yard is the meadow. I was sitting in a wooden chair in a wooden chair in the backyard holding buttercup. We have grown to love each other a lot more than we used to. I think....I think Prim dying has brought us closer together. My children where playing in the yard. I watched.

After about an hour I called them inside. They washed up and sat down at the dinner table. Peeta came running in the door.

"Katniss,we need to talk."

"What?Is everything ok?"

"I need to talk in private."

I turned to the kids.

"Stay there. Mom and Dad need to talk."

The girl spoke up.

"Mommy is everything ok?"

"Yes,yes everything is fine."

Peeta pulled my arm into the living room.

"Katniss."

"What did something happen at the bakery?"

"No,on the way home."

"What! What is it?"

"President Heavensbee is building a.."

Peeta was shaking.

"Tell me Peeta!"

We where whispering.

"A fence around all of Panem!"

"What why? More secrets. I don't think he should have been the president."

"Would you have rathered Coin?"

"No neither. We need somebody we can trust."

"You used to trust Heavensbee."

"Wasn't very smart."

Then Peeta started to walk to the kitchen. He said

"We will talk more tonight. After they go to bed."
