Chapter 9:Katniss

The sun was almost all the down. That will be perfect,nobody will be able to see us clearly. We don't want us to be seen snooping around. Heavensbee would know we were up to.

"Peeta we need to find a car. It would take forever to get anywhere by foot. Not to mention how loud you are when you walk." I said to Peeta.

"Hey! I'm not that loud." Peeta said back laughing.

I giggled back. Then I got serious.

"Peeta,we really need to find a car."

There aren't many cars around here because everybody just walks places. The only places to go besides the fresh market would be family and close friends house's. And most people would walk because everything here is so close together.

Peeta replied "It's going to be hard to find."

"Yeah,I know."

After a little walking we came upon the mayer's house. Out front there was a green pickup truck and a black suv.

"Right there Peeta,the mayer is probably the only person close to here with a car."

"Katniss..I don't know."

"What? What don't you know?"

"Well.." Peeta hesitated.

"Spit it out!"

"This doesn't seem right. Steeling? That's not us."

"If it is to save Panem from more unfairness and secrets then we can steal a rich man's car."

I walked towards the suv,not even caring about what Peeta had to say. Does he want to save Panem or not?

I opened the drivers seat door and flung my stuff in the back seat. Peeta opened his passenger seat door and did the same.

"Ah Ha! Look the keys are right here on the arm rest. What a moron." I said.

I put the keys in,but before I could start the engine Peeta softly put his hand on my arm.

"Katniss?" he said.

"Yes?"

"I love you. No matter what happens I want you to protect yourself. I need you to survive this Katniss. I love you. If you lived, then you would have your mom and Gale." Peeta said passionately.

"No,no. I love you,I need you. Besides,you would have the kids."

"You take better care of them anyways."

"What? Why do you say that? We are both great parents. I love you,Peeta. If you are gone,I can't survive."

I started the engine and backed out of the driveway. That's when we must have driven over some security system or something because a loud siren went off and I heard a distant screaming from the mayer's mansion.

The mayer ran out of the building yelling

"The peacekeepers will come get you! Whoever you are,thief, you bring shame to Panem and too your family!"

Finally we got far enough away from The Mayer's house and there were no

signs of any authorities anywhere.

That's a big enough adventure for me already. Damn, do i have to get back in shape.

Aye! Wassup people. Dang it,I know it has been FOREVER since a new chapter came out but Wattpad was glitching on my phone and I had to delete the app.Then when I went to get it back a couple days after I didn't have enough space.I called the apple company,begged parents for more space,looked online for tricks to get space,deleted all my pictures and deleted ooVoo just for you guys!

But yeah in the book mocking i think they refer to their children as "the boy" and "the girl" so i was trying to copy that. ill check on that for u so i get it correct. and also somebody said something about how they were confused about how i said tris was dead and i said it will go in between their minds. well,it will make sense soon. trust me:) also yeah i saw the hate ya hater lol jk i know its not like that books sorry im not a professional author,im a kid with an imagination!
