My Player - 13

Hello everyone, I felt really happy for no reason (which is rare nowadays) and I really wanted to try uploading. But before I get on to the chapter, I'll clear up everything so far...(quick recap, skip if you like ;p)

Aiden & Sadi were attacked by rogues which led to:

Joel moving back to California, with no details of what has happened to his family (yet). [it's assumed Joel has moved into the pack house]

Aiden does not know Sadi is Joel's little sister.

Madison is a jealous wolf that wants Aiden to be her mate and Sadi and her have run into a few problems.

Aiden has a serious medical condition that only a select few know about - his mom, dad, and his Beta [whose name I have forgotten xD].

Aiden has finally admitted that he will chase and fight for Sadi, thanks to his wolf. He has made several attempts but none have worked so far.

Sadi and Aiden shared their first kiss, making Aiden more possesive and Sadi more confused as ever.

Lucy is working with an unknown person and has seen Aiden and has become attracted to him. She is suddenly back in California but there has been no other news about her so far.

Sadi has had a bad dream about a mysterious Jason, who(m?) I have yet to explain. She wakes up in fear and calls the pack house (She doesn't know that it was actually the Alpha's office number). Because of this,

Aiden goes to her apartment to comfort her.

Sadi has finally decided she wants Aiden as her mate but is too scared to trust him and give her heart to him. There are also multiple things standing in between them which makes it seem to her as impossible to ever be happy with the Alpha.

I hope this summary helps! I know a lot is going on so far, and it must be hard to keep up, so there you go! Everything written up there will be incorporated throughout the story, somehow!

Aiden Smith's POV

Sadi stirred in my arms but didn't move much afterward. I held her close, a need to protect and care for her running through my veins.

She had fallen asleep a few minutes after her breakdown. Why she did, I don't know, but I was going to find out. It scared me to see her scared as much as it made me angry and protective.

(Note: This is a recap of the previous chapter in Aiden's POV. Don't be confused, this part has already happened! I will note when it's present again...)

I had been in my office, working since the early morning - about 5 A.M. - and was about to go to bed when the phone rang. It was late, 2 A.M., and I didn't know who would be calling at such an outrageous hour. But then again, I was awake too, so it's not really fair that I judge.

Answering the phone with suspicion, I said "Hello?"

Sadi's angelic voice greeted my ears and I felt my wolf stir. "Um...hi."

"Sadi?" I couldn't help the way my voice sounded.

"I - um...nevermind." The way she hesitated made me worry. Was she okay? Why was she up at this time? Was something wrong?

"What's wrong?" I begged softly.

"It's stupid." I could barely make out her voice but it made me worry more, for no reason.

"Are you home?" I asked.

"Yeah...why?" Confusion lined her voice and I could only imagine the slight pout on her lips and that adorable face of hers.

"Just stay where you are, okay?" I had ordered her, hoping she would listen to me this one time.

I made it to her classy apartment in ten minutes, knocking a bit loudly but I was scared that she wasn't going to be there...that she could be hurt, lost, anything.

Sadi was there, though. I released a breath I didn't know I had.

After our awkward greetings, Sadi had eventually broken down in front of me. I had never felt so useless in the face that I couldn't even comfort my own mate. So I let instinct take over, and prayed she would be okay.

[End of recap thingy ;p]

Sadi started thrashing in my arms and calmed her down again. What had gotten her so worked up?

I stood up and carried Sadi to her room, where her scent was overpowering. It had taken me so much self control already to not mark Sadi when I first saw her this night, or should I say early morning. If that's what she considered pajamas I couldn't wait to see what she thought a bathing suit was. Just the thought made my ever-growing problem much harder.

I laid Sadi down carefully on the bed, but when I tried to get up, she wouldn't let go. This girl was strong, to be in your sleep! I was afraid she would wake up to another nightmare so I 'reluctantly' laid down next to her, wrapping an arm around her sexy little self and pulling her closer to me. Sadi automatically snuggled into me, causing me to smile and my heart to speed up.

Damn, what this girl does to me. I must sound like a girl! Ah hell, I thought. I kissed the top of her forehead softly and stared at her for a moment. Creeperish, I know, but it was difficult when her beauty was so distracting.

Her hair fell perfectly around her, a mixture of medium-browns and the occasional brown strand of hair. It was soft, too, and I ran a hand through it, just because I knew she wouldn't let me when she woke up.

Her eyes, when opened, of course, were mesmerizing, and once you looked in them you couldn't look away. If she thought I trapped her, she was thinking wrong. I felt like the animal and she was the hunter.

She had full pink lips and I just wanted to kiss them, kiss her, like I did that one night. I sighed and held her closer to me. I had never thought I would find myself falling for a girl. Can you imagine - a player falling in love?
