Nine

Mira POV

With a groan, I realized what Laxus and Natsu were doing
"Yes she will..." I said bluntly, referring to Kinanna.

"Exactly why we just need to keep you two busy- maybe get something out of you while we are at it..." Laxus muttered and with that, Natsu dragged Lucy away while Laxus dragged me towards the storage closet.

He opened the door and then closed it, engulfing us in complete darkness.
"I can't see!" I complained.
I could almost feel his smirk as he said, "I can."

Almost on instinct I covered my chest but glared at him.
After a few moments I found the light and realized he was indeed staring at me.

"Hey, my eyes are up here!" I exclaimed, snapping my fingers.
Then, I added quietly, "Pervert."

His eye twitched and he leaned over to me, a smirk present on his features.
"I truly wonder what I could do to get the truth from you..." he sighed, leaning back.

The glint in his eye never changed, though, and I knew I was in for some trouble.

Levy POV

Gajeel came over casually, as if he didn't just say he was going to get the truth out of us, and leaned on the bar next to me.

I ignored him and took a sip of my milk, flipping the page in my book.
He chuckled that laugh of his and I knew he was about to tease me.

"Trying to get bigger and stronger bones with that milk, Shrimp?" He asked.
I kept my lips in a tight line.
Yep, teasing me about my size.

"I bet your kid will be taller than you!" He continued.
"Probably will, considering his father's height," I said, although immediately regretting it.

"So his father is tall? Has to obviously have black hair and red eyes..." he started, fake thinking.

"Well, that describes me pretty damn well," he added, watching my reaction and trapping me against the bar.

Yukino POV

I watched Alayna and Sting eat dinner like they'd never eaten before and laughed at their similarities.
Good to see she didn't get that eating habit from me!

When we were done, I cleaned the table and washed the dishes before picking Alayna up from the couch.
"Bed time!" I said cheerfully.
She made no sound of protest and let me lay her in her bed.

As soon as I told her goodnight, she was out like a light.

I smiled at her before heading back to the living room.
"You want to watch a movie?" Sting asked, startling me.
"S-sure!" I answered, grabbing the Netflix remote.

Sting scrolled through and put some movie on that I didn't catch the title of, but slowly I became tired and couldn't quite catch any of the movie.
Soon enough, I had laid my head on Sting's shoulder and he didn't make an attempt to stop me.

It was nearing a scene with soft music, and that was my breaking point.
I fell asleep in the middle of that song, head now resting on Sting's lap.
But I remember one more thing.

"Alayna.. is.. yours.." I muttered sleepily.
