"Katie go hide... I've got the door." I said, pushing her behind me.

"No, I'm not letting you get hurt." She stubbornly said, stomping her foot.

"Just go... Please... It could be one of my brothers coming to tell me." I said, in a low voice.

"Fine!" She whines walking up the stairs.

But little did I know that it was not one of my brothers...

I sit here at work filling out paper's when one of my best friends from work runs in painting...

"What wrong?" I ask like it's no big deal... But I didn't know what was going to happen...

"Your mom escaped from Jail." He says, breathless.

"What!" I yelled, shocked...

"Yeah... But it's fine she doesn't know where you work." He said, sitting in the chair in front of me, tiredly.

We have to work till 8:00 today because they wanted us to...

"Yeah but she got out before and found out where we all live together, she can find us now. Even if that was a long time ago." I said, scrambling to my feet.

"Your right... You should go I will finish your work." He said, being an awesome friend.

"Yeah... Thanks, man." I said, running out the door... I have to warn my brothers.

I open the door and am met with the eyes of my mother... I slam the door,
I run up the stairs.

"Katie it's my mom, we have to leave out the back!" I yelled, looking around for her.

She runs out of a room... And stands right in front of me.

"No not until you tell me why you never told me what she did." She whispers... sadly.

"I didn't want you to think less of me," I mumbled, looking away.

"I would never think less of you, I'm so sorry!" She said, hugging me... I feel tears soak through my shirt and I knew she was crying...

"Hey, hey I'm fine now-" She pulls away to look at me.

"No your not now she is coming after you and your brothers." She said, as more tears run down her face.

"We have to leave-" I'm cut off from the sound of the door being broken down.

"We have to hide!" she says taking my hand. I go one way to grab my phone and she goes the other way. I try to go the other way but I hear footsteps coming up the stairs.

This can't be happening, I run in the bathroom and into the shower. Just then I hear the door open...
Footsteps come, I close my eyes and hear the shower curtain move... I open my eyes and am met with not my mother's eyes but Katie's...

I start to see something even more shocking my mother sneaking up on her...

"Katie watch out!" But it's too late... My mother yanks her hair so hard there is some in her hand.

"Mom stop... What did I and my brothers ever do to you?" I yelled, trying to get her to let go... But she wouldn't it only made her madder.

"Nothing I just wanted girls and since I didn't get girls you can't either!" She said angrily...

"Please, you can do anything to me just please don't hurt my brother's or my girlfriend." I lie I won't let her know that I was married... It would just make things worse.

"Ok but I already paid Stefan a visit." and it's those words that make me lose it... What did she do to Stefan...

Chloe goes to take a nap, as I draw.

This is my new hobby, I just love how it relaxes my muscles. I look up from my sketches when I hear footsteps behind me, I turn around and see my mom.

What! She tries to slap me and does but the next time I grab her hand. I push her out... I lock the door and go check on Chloe but she's fine. Since I want a nap now... I climbed in with her.

"What did you do to him!" I ask angrily.

"He just got what he deserved-"

"Evan... Mom got out of jail we need to go somewhere safe." Yells Devin banging on the door.

"Haha just in time for the show." My mother says running out the door. I try to open the door but there's something in the way. Oh no Devin why...
