"My empress...I love you so much."
The red haired emperor smiled at Akatsuki as he stroke her hair gently.
"I love you, too.."
She answered back.
"Empress...you're my one and only empress.."
He replied.
"S-Sei-senpai.."
"I'm sorry...my empress."
Akatsuki was sleeping soundly on her bed when her mother slammed the door open and shaked her harshly.
Akatsuki groaned as her slumber was interrupted. She slowly opened her eyes and saw her mother looking at her and mumbling things.
She looked closely and realized that her mother was crying.
"M-Mom?" Her eyes were wide and full of worry. "W-What's wro--"
"Sei.." Her mother sobbed. "Sei is in the hospital!"
Akatsuki quickly got up and ran.
Ran as fast as she could.
Tears streamed down her face.
She asked what room was he in.
She ran there, in her pajamas and slippers.
"S-Senpai!"
She pants heavily.
Her eyes went wider as she saw the once absolute emperor, now laying weakly on the hospital bed.
"W-What's all this? What happened?!" She cried out.
"Who told you to--"
"Answer me!!"
Akashi stared at her.
He then smiled, sadly.
