Lost

Chapter Nine

"Oh great, that's just great." Huffed John. 

The girl gave him a weirded out look. "You're not scared that a bear is coming this way?"

John shrugged. "It is pretty inconvenient."

"Look Miss, does this path lead out of the woods?" Asked George.

She nodded fervently. "Didn't you know that?"

"We got lost." Said Paul. 

The girl stared at him. "What happened to your head?"

"Oh that, I tripped."

"Ouch. Well, what are we gonna do? The bear is coming!" She exclaimed frantically. 

"Alright, calm down. What's your name?" Asked John. 

"Maureen." 

"Right Maureen. I have a plan." Announced John. 

"Don't take all day about it." Muttered Jane. John shot her a glare.

"So what's the plan?" Asked Cyn uneasily. 

"Simple. We hide in the trees."

There was total silence after what he said, with the exception of the rain.

"Are you crazy?" Yelled Ringo. "If we hide in a tree, we'll probably get struck by lighting!"

"Ringo's right." Cut in Pattie. 

"Do you guys have a better idea?" Asked John. 

Again, there was silence. 

"Maybe we could distract it with...something?" Suggested Paul. 

"Like what? We have no food." Pointed out George. 

"We still have those energy bars." Reminded Paul. 

"It's worth a shot." Said Ringo and the others agreed. 

"Okay fine. Let's get this over with." Said John.
