Why can't I go anywhere without falling face first into a bad situation? I should've known something like this would happen. Just whenever I'm starting to get comfortable, I always run into some sort of predicament.
Those were Pearl's thoughts as she stared at the woman whom she had carelessly flirted with those long months ago. Although now those mere months felt as if years, even an entire lifetime had passed since the two of them had spoken. "I-I remember you..." she stumbled absentmindedly. Fumbling, she withdrew a crinkled slip of paper from the pocket of her leather jacket. It bore a phone number with the initial S. Jotted down in sloppy handwriting. "You gave me this." Garnet's discomfort was obvious when the muscles around her jawline stiffened. "I never did catch your name." The woman continued, oblivious to the fact that Garnet was tensing with every word she spoke. "My name's Pearl." The Woman stuck out her hand and Pearl shook it after a moment's hesitation. "You can just call me 'S. My real name is kinda embarrassing. obviously, my parents weren't thinking straight when they chose my name. But of course I can't think straight either, if you know what I'm getting at." 'S winked flirtatiously, her face turning a deeper shade of pink than her hair. It took all of Garnet's willpower not to summon her Gauntlets. "And who is this?" The Newcomer motioned to her. "this is my.." Pearl glanced at her with a momentarily unsure expression that quickly unfolded into a doting countenance. "This is my girlfriend, Garnet." Pearl interlaced their fingers together and grinned dashingly. The luster in S's sparkling emerald eyes immediately dissipated. "Oh..." She had tried to conceal her dissatisfaction but it was clearly displayed through her bodily language. Her shoulders slumped downwards with a little lingering stare directed towards Pearl's slim figure. "I've got some errands to run.. But feel free to call me if you ever get the chance. It was nice officially meeting you, though." The woman shoved her hands in her pockets and sashayed away, hips swaying with each step. "You're not going to call her back, are you?" Pearl narrowed her eyes and leered impishly. "Not in a million years."
There wasn't a trace of color left in the spacious night sky when the two gems arrived on the hushed shores of Beach City. Pearl immediately kicked off her shoes and wriggled her toes in the sand that was still cooling from the day's intense heat. She knelt on the ground and scooped a handful of the gritty substance, watching it as it sifted between her angular fingers. "The beach is quiet tonight." Garnet distantly nodded at the vague statement and slumped down onto the ground, her thoughts straying from the present. Pearl could sense her gaze penetrating through the cover of her visor. She tried to ignore the stares by watching as the tide ebbed away at her feet. "Do you really think of me that way?" The sudden question startled Pearl out of her trance. "What do you mean?" She inquired. "Do you think of me as a romantic partner? Or a "Girlfriend" as you called it earlier." Pearl's sky blue eyes narrowed. "I should've made this clearer sooner..." Her seductive tone had gradually drawn them closer together until only inches separated their faces. This time it was Pearl that sealed the gap in between them by inclining her head until their lips met. Garnet instilled her dominance instantly by inserting a forceful tongue between her parted mouth. Their mouths battled
against each other until Pearl was taken aback by Garnet's careful hands stroking her slender hips. She pulled away from the embrace momentarily. "That's a yes, in case you were wondering." Garnet simpered in a satisfyingly low voice. "That's my Pearl." They resumed their kiss, this time Garnet's hands wandering beneath her thin T-shirt. Pearl panted timidly and arched her back forward. Her body language gave Garnet the courage to shift her hands upwards to her chest. She tenderly massaged the fabric that separated her hands from Pearl's breasts. The whimpers were suppressed by Garnet's plump lips. Pearl felt her lover's mouth leave her own and travel to her clavicle where she let her lips brush along her sensitive skin. This time her moans were acute with an uncommon ecstasy. Garnet subtly slid a hand in between her legs and rubbed her fingers back and forth across the thick denim. Soon, the spot on her clothing became moist from her uncontrolled excitement. Garnet unzipped Pearl's jeans and she whimpered gingerly. "Please, Garnet... I'm not ready..." she avoided eye contact by glancing at the ground vulnerably. Garnet hesitated for a moment before drawing her hand away from pearl's body. "There's no need to be ashamed of your emotional needs. The last thing I wish is to disrespect your personal boundaries." Garnet patted her shoulder reassuringly as a forced crooked half-grin appeared.Even if I'm dissatisfied, I must stay strong for Pearl's sake.
.................... well that was a monumental disaster. Yet again, I kinda wrote this on an impulse so it was fated to be a piece of s*it anyways. I hope you were able to enjoy the chapter despite my everlasting incompetence.
