Chapter 1

Hermione was looking out the window when she saw an owl come flying through the window. It was Harry's new owl, Athena, with four letters, three of them were from her friends and another one was from Hogwarts. Just then another owl came in through the window. It had unknown handwriting with my name on it. My friends letters read:

Dear Mione, How have you been? We miss you. Do you think you can come over for the rest of the summer? I have something important to tell you. Love, Harry

Dear Baby, We miss you at the Burrow. Harry and Ginny have been wrapped up in themselves to care about me. I wish we had seen more of you since the war. It has been hard losing Fred then not seeing you. Please come cover for the rest of the summer? With all my love, Ron

Dear Mione, Harry and I have been getting along so well. I think he might ask me to marry him! You need to hurry up and visit Ron has been mopping around.the house even more than George. That was mean of me. Just hurry up and visit before I go crazier than I already am. Love, Ginny

The Hogwarts letter read:
Dear Ms. Granger, I am please to inform you that you have been excepted back to Hogwarts to redo your last year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. If you accept, please meet me at 1:00o'clock sharp on the Hogwarts express to discuss something important. From professor mcgonagall,  headmistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

After I reread the letters I cannot help but smile, I answer everybody with a yes I will see them and accepting the chance to do my dream. I look at the required books and.see I have all but one and that we 7th years don't have uniforms and can wear what they wish. I go down to tell my parents the good news when I hear them start fighting.

"We have to tell her, jean. It is only right she know that she is adopted and that her biological parents are coming to get her since we have had her for 18 years. Since their charm wears off today." my dad yells at my right as I walk into the kitchen.
"Honey, we were just saying-" I cut my mom by saying, "I am adopted?"

Here is the first chapter. I am open to any help or supportive criticism if it is intended to improve the quality of my writing. This story will be marked for mature for just incase anything I write isn't appropriate. Please vote, comment, and like this chapter. Also this book will be super long so that you guys understand what I am trying to say, but once you read the chapter and have any suggestions to make that scene short please tell me.
One more thing I will be slow at updating after awhile because I'm still in high school.
