ALEXA

Loud booming and the sound of trees crashing down echoed through the whole forest.

Tedo's eyebrows shot up, as he shouted. "Quick! Say the word again, put everything back in the backpacks and hop on my back!"

He transformed into a very large horse as Alexa jumped on without hesitation, closely followed by the other girls. The horse neighed and ran as fast as one could with four girls on one's back.

Black mist covered the part of the forest they were just in as Noella screamed. "It's coming closer!"

Leah, who was sitting on the end, started whimpering. As the trees fell, her eyes became glassy. Noella, who was quite sensitive to the air pressure, started coughing. She could notice the air change and was having trouble breathing, while everyone else could breathe fine. But as the black mist started sucking in all the air, Noella suffered the most.

Out of the mist, three figures stepped forward, revealing them to be dressed in the same armour as the fighters seen before at the safehouse.

"Well, well. We've heard much about you. Newt has many ways." Wearing a smug smile, the man on the left's eyes traced Alexa's curves.

¿Qué demonios? Dios mio...    (What the hell? My god...)

The man in the middle answered, "Now, now, Noir. We need to get these four to the Fairy of Dark. Maybe once she's done with them you can keep her as a pet."

"Como si eso fuera a suceder (As if that were to happen)," she muttered, before yelling, "Ignis!" and swung her knives, slashing and jabbing.

The other girls did the same as Tedo turned into a wolf. He swiped his claws and raked them across the faces of the men and they fought like there was no tomorrow, which there might not be if they did not succeed.

Blood flowed out of the wounds of the two men and woman, and also the group of five, but it wasn't likely they would survive being attacked by a vicious wolf, even if it wasn't rabid, combined with the fact that four very capable girls had magical pendants that transformed into magical weapons were attacking them with all they had, when the only weapons they had were swords.

"This is child's play!" the man in the middle yelled.

The two others of the enemy nodded and before anyone could react the mist darkened and began to suffocate them. Becoming light-headed, Alexa could feel herself losing consciousness as she was hauled up roughly by strong arms and the loud booming was broken only by the desolate and sorrowful noise of whimpering and howling. Her breathing was becoming small, desperate intakes of breath.

A white light pierced her vision. She had read somewhere that this light showed itself to those near death, and that thought gave her peace, as she began drifting, drifting far away...

"Alexa," a voice said urgently. "Alexa, wake up."

Groggily, she opened her eyes to see faces staring at her. Were there four? Or two? No, definitely four, but two people looked exactly the same, as did the other two, and... she realised she was seeing double. Blinking, she came to her senses and took in her surroundings. They seemed to be in a different place and it was bright and no black mist could be seen. A forest stood in front of them and to their left and right there was healthy chartreuse grass, vibrant plants and many

"What's going on? Where are we?" Alexa asked, confused.

Looking at the others, Azure answered, "Well, we were all dragged by the Fairy of Dark's soldiers, and they were taking us somewhere, most likely to Dark, but Noella created a gap in the weird black fog stuff and you passed out and we were able to breathe and her air engulfed it, and well, they all ran away when they realised we are all way better than them and then we all passed out eventually. We have been out for a while but you just woke up and Tedo had to turn into a large horse again and we ran away. Noella and Tedo are still out though."
