Gray x Reader: Worried

You were sitting in the fairy tail balcony watching the first day of the Grand Magic Games.

"Gray why did you have to participate in this round?" You said sadly watching your boyfriend in the game 'Hidden.' You watched as he constantly kept getting knocked out by the other opponent known as Nullpudding.

You gripped on to the bar in front of you every time Gray took a hit. You could tell he was getting frustrated.

"Gray please be okay after this" you say looking down cause you couldn't stand watching him be hit.

A hand was placed on your shoulder. "He's fine there's no need to worry! It's Gray we're taking about he's a strong fairy tail wizard" you look up to see Lisanna giving you a reassuring smile.

"I know, it's just....nevermind you're right." you say.

You look up to see Gray and all the other players get struck by lighting by the Memory Make mage by the name of Rufus. And then he got hit by Nullpudding again.

"Oh man Gray" you say quietly

You walk out of the balcony to go comfort your boyfriend. When you turn right down the hall you see your boyfriend weakly leaning against the wall with his fist dug roughly in the wall and his head down. You rushed to him.

"Gray you did the best you could. Everyone is still proud of you even if you don't win. I'm just grateful you didn't get too hurt." You say searching him up and down for any injuries.

He suddenly grabs you into a tight hug that cause you to widen your eyes in surprise. You wrap your arms around him and you put your head into the crook of his neck.

Gray starts to tighten his hold on you and is sniffling into your hair. You rarely saw Gray cry and when he did that meant he was serious.

"It's alright. I'm still proud of you" you say holding him tight.

"Thank you (y/n) it's just I could've done something to stand up for Fairy Tail" he said still crying into your hair.

"What would you do if Natsu saw you right now? So you have to act strong" you say.

"Don't even mention that Flame Brain" he says seriously
