I sighed as I sat in the uncomfortable waiting chairs in the hospital lobby, we've been sitting here for almost 2 hours now and not a single word on Lisa.
I looked around the room and saw Amy leaning on Kath's shoulder sleeping and Kath had her head turned talking to Dani. I looked over at Lauren who was sitting on the ground leaning her head on Toby as he had his arm wrapped around her.
Just hours ago Lauren was completely in hysterics, after nearly killing Hunter she collapsed into my arms, completely broken.
I can't believe what Hunter did to Lisa, my baby sister, how could this of happened? I'm thankful for Toby being at the scene otherwise we probably would not if even known about it.
I heard footsteps coming into the lobby and I saw a man in a white coat walking over with a clipboard in hand, I quickly rose to my feet as the doctor came over.
"Your here for Lisa Cimorelli?" The Doctor asked me and I nodded my head and as he said Lisa the others quickly got up and walked over except for Kath who was waking Amy up.
"Okay, well Lisa has a concussion, which should heal in about a month, she fractured her wrist from the landing, and just has a few minor cuts and bruises, a few of which are on her face. You can go see her now but like I said she does have some cuts on her face so don't be alarmed, and to make you all feel better Lisa will be okay." He told us and I breathed a sigh of relief, thank freaking god Lisa's okay.
The doctor led us to Lisa's room and the second we entered Lauren made a mad dash for Lisa and hugged her tightly and I noticed Lisa close her eyes as she seemed to be in pain.
"Laur, easy okay?" I told her and Lauren quickly pulled away and nodded.
"Lisa how are you feeling?" I asked my younger sister, walking over to her and sitting down next to her.
This is when I got a good look at her, she had a few good cuts on her cheeks and neck but there was one gash that easily stood out, right on the side of her left eye.
"Just a few scrapes, my head is killing me and my wrist is well fractured but I'll live." She told us and we nodded, I hate seeing my baby sisters like this, it's as if the world hates us.
"Lisa, Toby said that you were with some guy, who was it?" Lauren asked Lisa and I watched as her eyes widened and she quickly sat up using both hands but quickly hissed in pain, clutching her wrist.
"Lise are you okay?" Lauren asked her and she nodded.
"That boy is Sean Powers,my friend, is he okay?!" Lisa asked in a panic and we all looked at each other.
"Wait as in the guy who ripped you off Christian in school?" Dani asked and Lisa nodded her head and I watched as Amy's eyes widened in horror, but Kath quickly wrapped an arm around her in comfort.
"I need to know if he's okay! He tried to get me out f the way, he got hit too! He was bleeding from his head, please go find out what happened it him!" Lisa said tears spilling from her eyes but I watched as Dani hopped yo and ran out of the room to go get info.
I watched as Lauren carefully sat onto Lisa's bed and wrapped an arm around her pulling her into a hug.
I smiled at the two of them, out of us all Lauren and Lisa have a bond no one can have, ever since our parents, Lisa stepped up for Lauren and really filled in as mom for her, I sometimes get jealous of it though, I mean I'm the oldest and I'm the one whose supposed to protect all of my siblings but apparently I can't even do that.
I sighed as I leaned against my chair leaning my head back, all I want is a day without worrying but I can't even have that anymore, I just don't get out life can be so cruel to people.
I heard footsteps run into the room and I picked my head up and saw Dani smiling.
"Sean's okay, he just has a concussion and a fractured rib." She told us and I let out a sigh of relief and I looked over at Lisa who looked like the world has been saved and she smiled and nodded.
"Thanks Dan." She told her and Dani just nodded her head.
"Sooo Lisa, Sean's your "friend"?" Lauren teased and I watched as Lisa's face went red from blushing and everyone laughed.
"Were just friends relax." Lisa said and Lauren and Dani immediately starts gushing about Sean to her. This went on for about a good half an hour before Lisa yawned and her eyes were drooping.
I stood up and looked at the others, Lisa needed to rest so it was time for us to go.
"Guys Lisa needs to sleep, we will come back tomorrow morning okay?" I told the others and they all nodded except for Lauren.
"Chrissy, can I please stay with Lisa tonight?" Lauren asked giving me her famous puppy eyes and I chuckled and nodded and her eyes lit up and ran over and hugged me. I hugged her back and kissed her on the head and pulled away and smiled.
"Call me if anything happens okay?" I told her and she nodded and I walked over to Lisa and kissed her forehead.
"Sleep tight Lise, love you." I told her and she mumbled a love you back and I walked out the door with the others following.
I just hope that things can finally start turning around and we can be a family again.
