Fate and Football Games

Dani P.O.V
So Lauren asked me and Lisa to go to a football game later and we both agreed to it but I just found out it was for a different team which is weird but whatever. Right now Kath is driving me over to Zander's as she thinks we're hanging out but he's actually gonna be tutoring me, yeah fun, no.
We arrived at the house and just as I was getting out Kath grabbed my arm and looked at me dead in the eye,
"No funny business okay?" She told me sternly and I laughed and nodded my head, Jesus Kath I'm waiting till marriage soo just stahp!
"I don't even like him Kath, chill." I told her which was a lie but oh well, I watched as she smiled and nodded and unlocked the door. I hopped out and walked up to the door and rang the doorbell and I turned around and already saw Kath driving away, sheesh what if this was the wrong house and it was some psycho killer Kath!
Luckily for me it wasn't because Zander opened the door revealing himself in a black tank and some white joggers on.
"Hey Dani!" He said and I have him a small wave as he motioned me to come inside. I walked inside and took in how nice his house was, smooth wooden flooring with a beautiful baby blue wall color and some really cool paintings along the walls.
"Glad you can make it, my parents aren't home so it's xjust us, want a snack?" Zander asked me and I shrugged and I watched as he walked past me into a different room which I assume is in the kitchen.
I walked over to the couch and sat down as I waited for Zander to re-appear with some snacks.
A couple minutes later Zander walked back in with 2 sodas and a few bags of chips, okay this is my type of food! I grabbed a bag of Doritos and opened them up, popping ONE into my mouth.
"So you ready to start?" Zander asked me as he got out some algebra books and I nodded.
"Okay let's get started then." He told me and I nodded and he started explaining to me the lessons we've learned this week.
After about an hour and a half we stopped and my brain felt fried, like I think I got some of it down but I'm still a bit shaky about it but whatever I'm so done with learning.
"So uh Dani I heard about your older sister, Amy I think and I wanted to say I'm sorry about that and I hope she gets well soon." Zander said suddenly which totally caught me off guard and I felt my body tense up.
"Oh uh thanks Zander" I responded and he smiled and nodded.
"Look if you ever need to talk about anything I'm only a phone call away because from what I heard you've had a really hard couple of years, but I just want you to know I'm here for you." Zander told me and I nodded, tears bristling my eyes but I quickly blinked them away.
"Thanks Zander, I really appreciate it" I told him and he smiled and nodded his head.
"No problem Dani, no one should have to go through what you've been through." He told me and I nodded my head.
I never knew Zander was so sweet, I always thought he was a jock in a beautiful boy's body! I'm super glad that he's the one tutoring me, I wonder.... maybe is it fate?
Lisa P.O.V
"Lisa c'mon me, Dani and Tobs are waiting!" Lauren whined to me and I laughed, she really wants to go to this game but I have no clue why, it isn't our school but she said she had a friend there so I guess that's why.
"Sheesh chill out infant it's not like your gonna die." I told her as I picked up my keys and walked out of the kitchen with Lauren behind me and the others waiting patiently on the couch.
"Well it's important!" She she whined back and I laughed as I motioned the Dani and Toby  to go outside which they did, I mean at least they listen!
"Ah shush now lets go!" I told her and walked out of the house and hopped into the drivers seat of the car.

Skip to the game

The game is in the fourth quarter with a minute left and the team were rooting for IS losing by 3 points but now they have possession so it's anyone's game. I look over at Lauren who is screaming her head off for this one boy, Kai I think his name is. The question is, who is Kai?
I know he's apparently a football player but I have no clue which one. He better be nice or this boy betta run for the hills.
I looked over at Toby who looked annoyed, he's been like this since we got here. I wonder what's with him?
Dani went and made friends with some of the other girls here, as usual since all she does is make friends.
"GO KAI YOU GOT IT!" I heard Lauren scream which broke my thought process and I looked over as she was standing on the bleachers still cheering over that Kai boy.
I looked back at the game and watched as the team snapped it back to the quarter back number 7 who was looking to pass it but no one was open so he put the ball close to him and took off running.
I watched as he juked one player and stiff armed the other and I glanced at the clock which now said 10 seconds, if he gets tackled it's all over.
"RUN KAI RUN! YOU GOT IT!" Lauren yelled, oh I guess the quarterback is Kai then, ugh why is it always the quarterback?
Kai then juked out the final player and he was gone, he ran all the way into the end zone and everyone went wild and started running onto the field, Lauren and Dani  included.
I was about to go on the field after them when I saw Toby leaving, I quickly grabbed his arm and pulled him back.
"Hey Toby where you going?" I asked him and he shrugged.
"I got a lot of homework, tell Lauren I said bye." He said and jogged off into the parking lot, I turned back around and saw Lauren hugging the quarterback, and it wasn't just a small hug..... what?

A/N: omfg finally an update!! I'm soooo sorry it's been forever I've just been busy and I've still been sick like today i almost passed out during school oops 😬but yeah I UPDATED!
The drama thoo like is a certain blue eyed boy jelly? And how about Zander like that was pretty cute eh?
