I opened my eyes due to the beeping of my alarm clock, ugh I don't wanna get up! I groaned and sat up anyways and stretched my arms out.
I looked to my left and saw Dani and Lauren starting to stir so I took this opportunity to grab my clothes I picked out yesterday and ran into the bathroom.
I turned the shower on and hopped in, about 5 minutes later I came out and got dressed. I put on my hunting camp t-shirt and some blue skinny jeans.
I walked out of the bathroom and saw a sleepy looking Lauren waiting to go next.
"Morning Lauren, how you feeling?" I asked her since she still looked out of it.
"Better, just a little headache" she told me and instantly my older sister protectiveness kicked in.
"You should stay home and rest for another day then, I'll tell Kath to take you to a doctor too if it still hurts" I told her but she shook her head.
"No it's fine, I'll just take an Advil and suck it up, I don't wanna miss again" she told me and I sighed, she truly is stubborn just like dad. She walked into the bathroom and I walked downstairs into the kitchen and saw Kath cooking some scrambled eggs and bacon and not did it smell goooood!
"Smells good Kath!" I said as I sat down and she smiled at me. Soon enough Amy came down and sat down, soon after Lauren and Dani came into the kitchen as well and we all started eating.
"Christina left?" Dani asked and Kath nodded and I saw Dani nod slowly, I don't know why Christina bothers with a job to be honest, we have a good amount of money from our parents but Christina still wanted to work just to be safe. Though it definitely took a toll on the rest of us, especially Lauren and Dani since they were always close with Christina, Dani and Christina has the oldest and youngest bond and Christina and Lauren were birthday twins. I understand her reasoning for it and I respect it but I do miss my older sister a lot.
We finished eating and I got my keys to my car and I putt led on my white Air Force ones mediums on.
"YO IF Y'ALL DON'T WANNA BE LATE, YOI BETTA GET INTO THE CAR RATS!" I yelled out and soon enough Dani and Amy came running out and Lauren came walking out dragging behind them. Probably her headache or something.
I started the car and drove us to school.
*Skip to afterschool cuz nothing interesting happened*
I was waiting by my car for Lauren because Amy went with one of her friends and Dani said she was gonna stay afterschool with one of her friends.
I finally saw Lauren walking over and I got into the drivers seat just as Lauren was getting into the passenger seat.
"How was school? Anyone bug you about yesterday?" I asked Lauren.
"No, it was a pretty good day" she said with a smile and I nodded and started the car and took off for home.
We got home and I tried opening the door but it was locked, well I guess Kath left or something. I quickly pulled out my house keys and opened the door an went to the kitchen to get an apple. I don't eat the school lunch because it's basically poison and I'd like to live a long life so I just wait till I get home and eat whatever.
Lauren came into the kitchen a few minutes later and grabbed a water and sat down and sighed. Okay well that sigh obviously meant something is wrong so I shall become a good older sister and find out why.
"Lauren what's wrong because I know that sigh wasn't nothing" I said and she sighed again.
"Well this boy, Toby, Hunter's younger brother, sits next to me in art and always wants to talk to me but I don't know if I should trust him, even though he is pretty cute" she said and this caught my full attention, boy, cute, Hunter's younger brother, I don't like it.
"Well do you like him?" I asked her and hopin she would say no.
"Not in a crush sort of way but I might wanna be friends with him but I don't know" she said and put her head in her hands.
"Well you probably shouldn't date him, but I don't see why being friends could be hurtful, but if he lays a finger on you I will personally kill him." I told her and she laughed and nodded.
"Thanks Lise!" She said and I smiled.
"No problem ladybug, I'm gonna go to our room though, peace out homie!" I said while laughing and walked up the stairs.
I grabbed my backpack and brought it on my bed and took out my American history textbook. I plugged in my earbuds and started to listen to Boys Like Girls, no one really knows I like them except for my family.
I started doing my homework and thank god it's not super long or anything. I finished my homework after about half an hour since I don't get much because I'm a senior.
I guess I'll text Maddy or something because I'm super bored.
To: Maddy
Wazzup girlll
Not even a few seconds later she responded.

Heyyyyy!!!!!
We continued to text back and forth for about half an hour until Maddy said she had to go eat dinner. I might as well go make me and Lauren something to eat cause there's nothing else to do.
I opened my door and walked downstairs to the kitchen and found a heatable pizza and started heating it up until I heard a piano playing. The only other person in the house is Lauren, but she hasn't touched an instrument since mom and dad.
Mom taught us all how to play piano but I also picked up on drums, Kath played bass, Amy and Dani played guitar, Lauren played the tambourine and Christina just stuck with piano but she's really good.
But then I heard it, I heard a voice that hasn't sang since that accident, I heard Lauren's angelic voice after almost 2 years and boy was she better than ever!

A/N: HOLY CRAP I FINALLY UPDATED! I'm sorry guys, I was at a soccer camp, though the bad thing about it was that my knees got torn up like really bad, living that goalie life is hard man 😂
Anyways I hoped y'all liked it! Also be happy that Toby probably won't be Lauren's love interest sadly since non of y'all liked them except for me 😂 tell me your thoughts!
