Hayes POV

"I still don't know why she broke up with me!" I cried, face planting on to my bed, Nash just standing there confused.

"Let me see the message again, maybe there's a clue why," Nash said. I handed Nash my phone and he looked through the messages again.

"Whatever reason it might be, she's good at hiding it," Nash said, handing me back my phone.

"She's not hiding anything from me, well this week she's been acting weird after the performance at the mall with Carson," I said, sitting up.

"What if something happened between them and that's why she broke up with you? Maybe she was cheating on you?" He said.

"SHE WOULD NEVER DO THAT!!! I KNOW MAË AND SHE'S NOT THAT KIND OF PERSON!!" I snapped at Nash. He just raised his hands up in defense and walked out of my room, closing the door along the way. I just sighed and read the message over and over again till I memorized it.

🌻MaëMaë🌻: Hayes, I love you so much and these amazing 2 1/2 years with you have been the greatest, you always found a way to make me smile or laugh through the darkest of times. Your always the first thing I think of every morning when I wake up, and before I go to sleep at night. I'm so lucky to have you in my life, you understand all my little quirks, my weird habits, my obsession with Disney, and my song references. I'm glad that you also love me for me, and what I'm about to Say? Text? Whatever, it's going to hurt me more than you. I'm sorry to say? Text? You know what I mean? but we have to break up. Why would she break up with me? And through text? She hates doing that, Maë always says that it's better to do things in person. I just laid on my back and remembered the memories we made.

Flashback

"Next question," I said, the crowd started waving their hands around like crazy. Maë picks one and they started to cry.

"Don't cry beautiful," I said to them.

"First off, I love you both so much, your like my parents, Second is it true that you guys are dating?!" The fan asked us. I look at Maë, she smiled and winked at me. I look back at them and answer their question.

"Actually, we've been on a few dates and I wanted to do this later but I think that now is the perfect time," I said, turning to Maë and getting down on one knee. The crowd started going crazy, taking pictures and video of this moment. Maë just gasped and cover her mouth, I grabbed both on her hands and started to speak.

"Maë, we have been going out for about 3 months now, within those 3 months I have learned so much about you that I never thought I would. I have never felt this way about any girl before. You make me laugh at the most randomness times, your always positive, you brighten up any room you walk into, you cry with me when I cry, you always have who can make up the cheesy pick up line contest and yet you always win, you also make so many references wherever we go. I love you so much so that's why I need to ask you this," I said, reaching into my back pocket and opening up the box.

"Will you make me the happiest man? Boy? Human thing and become my Girlfriend?" I asked with a pleasing look.

"No...WAY THIS IS HAPPENING! YES I WILL BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND!!" She said, and I stood up and slipped the ring on her finger.

"Show us the ring!!" The fans yelled. At that moment, Maë and I started laughing so much that we were crying. Maë then started showing off her BlueRaspberry Ring Pop. Everyone started laughing and taking pictures.

"At least he got me my favorite flavor," she giggled, I kissed Maë's cheek and she started blushing. From that day, we did everything together.

Flashback Over

I get up from bed, slipped on my shoes, grabbed my phone and keys, then ran downstairs. I was stopped by Nash and Skylynn sitting in the kitchen.

"Where are you going?" Nash asked me.

"I'm going to find out why Maë really broke up with me," I tell him. Skylynn jumped out of her chair and ran to me,

"Your going to get my best friend back?!" She asked excitedly. I kneel down to Skylynn's level, I then kissed her forehead and held both of her hands.

"I will do everything to bring her back," I said, getting and walking out the door.

Nash POV

"Will he really do it Nashy?" Skylynn asked me.

"He can do it, I know he can," I reassured her. I really do hope that Hayes can get Maë back, she's the only girl that every made him feel this way.
