Luna~Maë POV

"Zach, is this true?" I asked him. The next day after I found out the news, I went over to Zach's house immediately.

"I honestly never heard anything about this before," Zach said, examining the letter.

"But I know, it's true sweetheart," Zach's Mom said, sitting next to us. I look at her in shock at what I'm hearing. She takes one of my hand and one of Zach's, she then sighed and looked at us.

"Maë, you and Zach are actually siblings, that explains why you have blue eyes while your parents have hazel. After you and Zach were born, I couldn't take care of the both of you and I had to give one up," she explains.

"So it was me, but why? Why didn't you come back for me?" I started to cry a little.

"I tried take back custody of you but your parents wouldn't let me cause they wanted you to grow up before they told you the truth, I'm so sorry that I didn't tell you earlier," she said. I just got up and sat walking out the door.

"Maë, where are you going?" Zach asked.

"I just need time to think," I said, walking to the only person who'll understand.

"So it really was true," he said. I just sat on his bed, and looked down at my hands.

"Yeah, it is true, I don't know what to do or how to feel about this," I said. He comes over and sits by me.

"Well, I know how you feel, I grew up my whole life knowing that I was adopted, I didn't know how to feel about it at first, but then I thought about who lucky I was to be adopted by this kind family and the love and support they gave me," he explains. I look up at him and smile.

"Thanks Jacob, I feel much better," I said, hugging him and he hugs back.

"I'm here for you every step of the way, you can always ask me questions you have," he said. We released from our hug and I stand up.

"Leaving?" Jacob asked.

"Making the right decision," I said walking out. I then run back to the Clayton's household to see a worried Mrs.Clayton on the couch. She see me, runs up to me, and hugs me tight. I hug her back and started to cry a little.

"Maë, I know that I don't expect you to be exactly 100% sure of everything that's happening but I hope that you understand," she says.

"Don't worry I do, and I'm glad that I was able to reunite with you now," I replied smiling. I then go up to Zach's room and lightly knock on his door, he lets me in and I see him sitting on his bed, scrolling through his phone. I jumped on his bed and he looks at me and chuckles.

"Hey mah brotha, literally," I giggle.

"You know that nothing has changed right?" Zach said.

"Yeah, other than we found out that we're actually related," I exclaimed.

"When do you want to tell everyone?" He asks me.

"How about in the next few days, I still need time to process this," I said. Zach nods his head in agreement.

"Maë, I'm glad that your my sister," Zach said wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

"I'm glad that your my brother too Zach," I said wrapping an arm around his shoulder as well. I hung out with him for the rest of the day and head home. The next few days pass by and it comes the time where I tell everyone that I was adopted. Zach comes over to my house as well as Loren, Jacob, Carson, and Hayes.
