prologue

~Lucy's pov~

I had a dream about my mother, a dream I thought was so real until it was. She was standing looking into
the light. Fluffy white angel wings outstretched towards me. She turned around and said in a soft sweet voice "Lucy, sweetheart I left you a note, two potions, and a key. The note will explain what I want to say but don't have time for. Wake up. Oh! and happy birthday! I love you." was the last thing I herd from her.

I woke up tears running down my face,I just sat there for a couple of minutes until I got up walked to the bathroom. I took a quick well deserved bath. I quickly got dressed in to my white, blue,and gold blouse, my black slit skirt, a silver belt that held my keys and my whip, thigh high black stockings, and my brown boots (A/N :like the cover pic) I put my golden blond hair in to two pigtails.

I looked at my night stand to find the note,the key,and the two small potions. On one of the potions it labeled 'For Natsu' and on the other one it labeled 'For Lucy' I picked up the note and read it. It said,'Happy 23rd birthday Lucy. I'm sorry I couldn't be here with you on your birthday, but you will see me later. I had to go back to my dimension. Please forgive me for leaving you when you were little. As you see on your bedside table there is a potion for you and one for Natsu to bring back your full power and your memories as well as his. The key is for when you and Natsu gain back your memories and Jude is not your real father he is just your uncle who had his own way of wanting to take care of you. Im sorry if that got to out of hand but it was kind of intended so you could want to leave him and go to fairytale'. The key was gold and had 3 different fantastic creatures on it. One was unicorns,the other was dragons,and the the last ones where merfolk. I decide to make some breakfast before going to the guild and before Natsu gets here. After breakfast I head to the guild holding the two potions and the key. Once I got there I asked if Natsu was here,Mira pointed to an area of the guild, where Grey and Natsu were fighting. I yelled Natsu's name, twice. On the third time he came over. I told him to follow me out of the guild and into the park I gave him the potion and told him to drink it. "Why Luce?"he asked,I said "To bring back our memories""Okay,but let's drink it at the same time" we both opened our respected bottles and drank. A bright light surrounded us and when our eyes adjusted we saw..............
