"Lee Minhyung!" Shouted Mr Kwon across the room. He quickly jolted up from his seat and wipes the drool from the corner of his mouth blinking innocently.
"Yes sem?" He replied back while trying to hold in his yawn. Everybody turns to look at him except for her. She just doesn't like witty guys like him, that tries to act cute around everyone to charm them.
She hated his guts for that. Everybody adores him even though he's a dork just because he knows how to charm them and doesn't get in trouble nor punished because of his "character".
Well actually it's more like she tried to hate him not admitting that she herself was also charmed by it.
"Hey (y/n), I've heard that you were childhood friend with Mark is it true?" Asked one of your classmates. "Mark who?" You answered back dumbfounded. "Oh you know know Lee Minhyung aka Mark". The others butt in and showing Mark's signiture pose.
"Was childhood friend". You emphatise the word was. "It was like ages since I last contacted him, since his returned from America." You whispered the last three words.
The others nods but some were pinching and slapping you out off jealousy well mostly the girls, of course. Being you, you couldn't care less about what they were doing and was lost in thought.
Of course you know who Mark is, you just pretended not to care. Both of you were inseparable since you were kids, you bathe together, play together, sleep together even eat together.
You both thought that nothing would separate you both, but then Mark's father suddenly got a job offer in America. Resulting for his family to move there.
After hearing that you were devastated and locked yourself up in your room for weeks. You didn't even wave him goodbye on his last day in Korea.
You just hated being apart from the person that you cherish the most. Being an only child makes you more attached to Mark.
After years later you heard nothing from him, no letter, no calls, no messages. You were also old enough to get over it and start to forget about him by distracting yourself.
But after 10 years later you suddenly got news from your parents that he will be coming back. Hearing this makes you stuck in a dilemma wether to be happy or not.
What worse is that they will move in next door meaning that you will meet him occasionally wether you what it or not. Your mum told you to get ready because someone is coming over tonight.
Being the top in the class makes you think far ahead and decided to stay at your friends house that night saying that there's is a school project going on.
