"I'll pay for the ramen
"I-it's okay."
"No. Let me pay. You don't have money."

You and Min Hee got out of the apartment building and walked to the nearest bus stop.
"So, you live in Pocheon right?" Min Hee seemed to forget where your parents lived, even though she was the one insisting you to go back to your parent's house.
"Yes. We have a house that's overlooking the mountains there. The house isn't that large though, it's pretty decent." You said as you wanted to be humble. Actually, your parent's house can almost be called a manor. It was pretty large.
"Oh, there's the bus!" Min Hee exclaimed in excitement as she pointed the approaching bus. Fortunately, this certain bus was also heading to Pocheon. What a lucky day, indeed.
The bus stopped and the doors opened. As you entered the bus, you spotted quite a number of people. Perhaps they're going to vacation. Pocheon has many tourist spots, anyway.
"Let's sit at the middle." You suggested to Min Hee, which she followed and lead you to the seat which she found the best. You insisted on sitting near the window.
The bus finally moved and you and Min Hee are on the way to Pocheon.
"By the way, are you going to sleep at my parent's house?" You asked while looking at the window.
"I don't know, maybe 1 night if you allow me? Since it's kinda tiring to go back and forth from Pocheon." She shyly answered as she worried that you might say no. She turned her head to you, awaiting for your answer.
"Sure. I'll go tell mom." You said and grabbed your phone to inform your mom in advance.
*Toot. Toot. Toot.*
"Yubuseo." Your mom asked through the phone. She seemed serious.
"Eomeoni, can I let my friend stay for a while at our home? We're going to just stay on a vacation there for a while." You were kinda hoping that she didn't hear the news about you, because you'll just be interrogated once you get home.
"No problem. I'll go prepare the guest room for her. You should've said that you're coming here earlier so I didn't have to rush." Your mother was surprised since this was unplanned and she wasn't said about any vacation or such. You normally would inform her a week if you were going back to your parent's home.
"I'll be sure to say it earlier, eumoni. Next time." You answered with a smile in your face. You were about to drop the call but she suddenly asked,
"But, by the way, why are you wearing a mask?" Your mother asked in curiosity since she can hear your voice being different.
"Uh..Cough. I caught cough." You didn't know what to say and it was the only reason you could think of. And it was followed by a fake cough.
"Ah. I see. Get well soon. I'll prepare medicine. Love you!" and she dropped the call.
"What did she say, Ju-eun?" She asked, but she already knew the answer since you were smiling.
"She said yes! She also prepared the guest room for you." You announced in joy.
"That's great! I'll be sure to bring you some foods if I come back as a gift." She looked far more excited than when they left your apartment.
You suddenly heard some whispers from the row of seats in front of you.
"Chingu, did you hear? Jimin got a girlfriend! And she's cute." When you heard this, your cheeks became red due to the compliment.
"Aigoo, Ju-eun." Min Hee teased you and poked your cheeks, gesturing that you were blushing.
"Just go to sleep." You gave her a glare.
*Dang. This news really spread quick.* You thought.

2 Hours later
The bus arrived in Pocheon. There was pretty heavy traffic on the way so the journey came out longer than expected. But you still needed to ride a taxi to go to your parent's house.
"I thought your house was small!" Min Hee was amazed on how beautiful your parent's house was. It was built with the style neoclassicism and it had a garden, similar to the ones found at France. The view was so cool too, as it was overlooking the mountains. The plot of land was sloping down and your house was positioned in the middle of the lot.
"It is small..." You really wanted to be humble but you just can't.
"Yeah. It is very SMALL." She said sarcastically, followed by a laugh.
"Whatever. Let's go."
