Alexis's POV
"Can you please excuse us for a second?" I asked Sam once he and Melissa stopped laughing. He nodded whilst looking over Dean's shoulder reading the letter that mum wrote for Dean. Pushing Melissa out of the booth I hopped off the chair and began pulling her towards the toilets. She followed which helped an awful lot because I did not feel like dragging her and making a scene. Upon walking inside I grabbed her elbows and looked her in the eyes.
"Melissa I need you to listen to me, Sam and Dean are my family. Dean is my dad and Sam is my uncle, they don't know I'm part of their family and I would like to keep it that way. I need you to listen I'm sixteen and you're fifteen we're sisters, our parents are dead and I hope that the letter mum wrote doesn't tell them we are related. Please for me play along until I feel comfortable to tell them the truth." I pleaded watching her closely.
She nodded before pulling me into a tight hug, I felt a few tears hit my shirt. Pulling away I held her at arms distance. Smiling I squeezed her hand and walked back to our table her hand in mine. Sam and Dean looked up sad smiles etched onto their tired faces. Sitting back in our places we started eating feeling the stares of Dean and Sam the whole time. When I finished eating I looked up meeting Dean's forest green eyes.
"So you're Alexis, you're Melissa. You both sisters and are a year apart in age yes?" Sam asked looking at us both when he mentioned our names. Slowly I nodded realising mum had also created us a back story that conveniently fit ours. I looked over at Melissa who was engrossed in eating her rabbit food. Smiling gently I looked back to Dean who was watching Melissa also.
"How old are you both?" He asked keeping his eyes on Melissa. Sam looked up from the note that he was re-reading as if he was hoping to find more information.
"I'm sixteen, Melissa is fifteen." I stated. Sam smirked at my response, I looked at him confused. He nodded his head over to Dean who was looking at me shocked. "What?" I asked confused at what was going on. You know when there's a joke that everybody but you know and your left dumbfounded trying to figure it out. Well that's me right now. And by the look on Melissa's face it was her too.
"I thought you were younger like twelve or something. Your mum said that she hoped you'd be older when she died but I didn't think she would be right." Dean confessed sheepishly. Melissa smiled at his face before placing her empty plate on top of mine. "Anyway we thought seeing as your mother wanted you two to find us we may well take you with us." Dean said more to Sam then us but he said none the less. Sam nodded ever so slightly so only Dean could see.
So naturally I saw too and refrained myself from raising an eyebrow. Abruptly Dean stood up and started walking out of the diner followed by a confused Sam and Melissa. Oh so I'm paying great. I glared at the retreating figures of my 'family'. Placing the money on the table I left the diner quickly catching up to the guys and Melissa. Poking Melissa's side I successfully her gained her attention rather quickly.
Holding up her bag I smirked as she snatched it out of my hand with a embarrassed smile on her face. Dean glanced over at us with a smirk on his face as if he knew something we didn't. You know I feel like by the end of this not knowing something or being left out will have made it's way into my everyday life. Before I knew it we had stopped on the edge of town where a 67' black, four door, Chevy Impala sat and not only that but it was in perfect condition.
Okay yeah I know my classic car but mainly this one. Ever since well... forever its been my favourite. And what do you know my 'dad' owns that very car. Melissa looked over at me with expectancy written all over her face, not literally all though I haven't pranked her in a while and I think I might have a sharpie in my bag. Anyway... shrugging my shoulders I threw my bag into the boot that Dean had opened before sliding into the back where I sat behind the drivers seat.
I watched a confused Melissa follow my steps before sliding into the seat behind the passenger seat aka where Sam sat. Sam and Dean hopped in not long after, you know what these giants need a nickname. Now don't get me wrong I'm 5'8" but those two are like 6 foot something. Oh I know Sam can be Sammy or Samantha and Dean can be Dean-o or De depends on how I feel. The roar of the engine brought a smile to my face which I quickly suppressed.
"Dean don't you think the girls will want to listen to music that isn't classic rock?" Sam asked. Dean sighed but lent forward to take out the cassette but I stopped him by speaking up, loudly might I add.
"Don't you dare touch that music or I might have to murder you! And you Samantha need to keep your mouth shut!" I yelled scaring Dean and Sam to a point where they both jumped, Melissa knew it was coming and didn't flinch. Sam spun around a look shock plastered on his face. Dean quickly followed, " What? Never heard a girl yell before?" I asked sarcastically earning a half suppressed scoff from Melissa.
"No, just didn't expect you to like classic rock like moi." Dean making a stupid face at moi. Poking my tongue out they both turned around and started talking the sound of Back In Black playing through the speakers. Melissa and I were looking out the window watching the crunchy leaves that were tinged with a slight Autumn/ Fall orange. I was so caught up in the music and scenery I didn't realise we had stopped.
"Come on." Melissa whined dragging me out of the car with her. Grabbing our duffels we walked over to a rusty looking set of stairs. Slowly we walked down and through a door to met with the one and only Batcave. Just kidding it was a massive bunker but really Batcave sounds better.
"Welcome to the freaking Batcave." I said loud enough for everyone to hear. Dean smiled at me, Melissa and Sam both rolled their eyes like at the same, are we sure their not related. A gentle flapping wings was heard me being the freak I was ignored it and slid down the railing on stairs, skillfully I might add. Standing up I turned back to the room only to be met with blue eyes, black hair and a tan trench coat. "Argh!" Grabbing the knife from my pocket I threw it hitting the man.
Author's Note:
So what do you think? Anyway I need help, her reaction to the bunker was my reaction when I saw it for the first time. Also who would have guessed she keeps a freaking knife in her pocket. Not me... well actually yeah I did for obvious reasons. Anyway hope you enjoyed chapter three of my horrible fanfiction. Please comment what you think. Also I've been thinking and decided to ask a question at the end of every chapter that you can answer if you want in the comments or just internally like I do.
Have you ever been caught in a awkward moment where your telling the truth but then something completing unrelated makes you smile/laugh and no one believes you? This happens to me every time I open my mouth I swear. Also I've decided to make Alexis and her mum Australian because I am and sometimes my sayings might slip into my writing making no sense. Anyway she does hide it from everyone but Melissa cause she doesn't like people hearing it, if this makes any sense I bless you for being able to understand me.
