what I thought throughout this 1DHiatus was Narry had broken up at the start of the Hiatus. Niall went on a vacation all around the globe while Harry went M.I.A and on the yacht ( I won't talk about it because I HATE TALKING ABOUT IT ) .
I don't know the exact reason for the break up , but what I can conclude from the song This Town was Harry loved Niall and always showed it while Niall was not that expressive about it.
Harry's going to yacht might have broken Niall and that's when he decided to write the song ( his album) . Because in one interview he said he started writing this song in February and now we all know when Harry was on the Yacht.
Then Niall tried to move on with Celine and Harry started working on his movie . But then that didn't worked out for him because we never saw Celine again ever and he confirmed he is single.
Then out of blue Niall releases This Town just before Harry's photoshoot !!! And after that in various interview's you see Niall talking particularly about Harry and His movie .
At the award show I forgot the name the one that Gigi Hosted . Niall said and I quote "Ya , ya..."when asked if someone from the band had come to support him.
We all know Liam was not their from updates and Louis was in Doncaster . Three days before Harry was spotted at the LA airport !!
Coincidence , I don't think !
After that Narry were M.I.A during Christmas & New Year . Then we see Niall wearing the same T-shirt , Harry was spotted holding ( now Gemma wore the same T-shirt too but it had no hearts and the neck stripes was not the same ) 👆I have this in one of my previous chapters !!
And they both are always M.I.A and Niall is not on snapchats , I feel at that time he is with Harold 😁 , or else he is always blessing us.
