"Recent events have driven me to DESPISE ALL MEN. They ALL have an agenda, they all think with their dicks, and they all think they can sneak around my back and be able to get away with it." Satin heard as she watched another black woman go on a tirade about how nigga's ain't shit. The lady on the television had recently found out her man had been sending around nudes of her to his homeboys
"Maybe you should have been worried 'bout this money instead of nigga's." Satin said to herself as she focused her attention back on her hairdresser and homegirl Cassandra.
"Satin that's gon' be you in a couple years all them nigga's at that club taking pictures and videos of yo' ass." Cassandra joked.
Satin smiled and then rolled her eyes. "I ain't trippin' at least my name gettin' out there, ya' feel me, mo' mouth mo' dinero."
"I hear ya', when you gon' put me on, you know I got the body and moves for the pole, plus I'm tryna' meet me a baller, I heard Tupac was there last night." Janelle, a ditz redhead gossiped.
"Bitch he dead, and no, last night's performer was the sexiest man ever to grace this earth....R. Kelly."
"You a nasty hoe, that damn pedophile, you look like you want somebody to pee on you." Cassandra joked.
"Speakin' of a hoe, look who just pulled up with his." Marisol pointed out.
They all followed Marisol's gaze, which was directed outside the shop window. Out front stood Loni and Anthony. It had been months since she had last seen him and god did he look scrumptious now more then ever. "Hmm and he don't like hoes." Satin mentally thought as she checked Loni over. "Cheap weave, strip mall jewels, and rack clothing, this bitch basic." she thought as she degraded the poor girls outfit. Satin turned away in disgust as she seen them tongue each other down. "He can do better." she said annoyed.
"Somebody hatin'." Cassandra half joked.
"Please, he just can do better, that's all I'm sayin' ain't no hatin' from over on this end." Satin stated confidently.
"Mhm," Marisol said as the couple walked through the door. "Hey Loni!" Marisol said excitedly.
"Hey girl, it's about that time, my edges need to be taken care of pronto." Loni explained as she and Marisol hugged and did fake smooches.
As Loni and Marisol continued to talk, Satin tried her best to keep her eyes off Anthony. "So 'Sandra do you think this color is pretty on me or should I change it when I get home?" Satin asked, trying different ways of ignoring him.
Completely interrupting and totally late on the intro's Loni said, "I'm so rude, let me introduce my man, Ant this is my team, Cassandra Marisol, and Taysha."
Anthony reluctantly waved hi. When his eyes bounced on Satin, the feeling of shock ran deep in them. He thought he'd left the image of Satin back at the club. "How y'all doin' ladies?" he asked politely. Cash then turned to Loni and said, "Look Loni, I gotta' go handle something, so text me when you done, I'll have one of the boys come through and come get you." he told her as he planted a kiss on her cheek, and then leaving the shop.
"So 'Sandra what's been up? You got it lookin' hella right up in here, I'm lovin' these colours ma, and that dress where'd you get it from Kmart?" Loni asked as Marisol took down her ponytail.
"More like the clearence rack." Marisol joked. Cassandra shot her a look and Marisol quickly changed her answer, "So I heard." Marisol added quickly with a change of tone.
By the look on Cassandra face I knew she wanted to say something, but being the classy bitch that she was she answered, "No, it's not, my girl Satin brought it for me, where'd you get this from ma?"
Rollin' off the hint Cassandra was subliminally giving Satin answered, "It's Versace."
Loni's hazel-green eyes focused on Satin as she said. "Oh so you're the infamous Satin I've been hearin' about."
"I guess." was all Satin could say as she took a nose-dive back into her Iphone.
"Hmm, that explains the dress." Loni spat as she once over Satin.
"What's that suppose to mean?" Satin asked with an attitude.
"Nothing..it's gorgeous." Loni lied with a sweet smile.
Satin was about to say something, but then Q walked in and the vibe changed. As the door shut behind him he asked, "You ready ma?"
"Yeah." Satin answered as she smiled at every envious female stare in the shop. She paid Cassandra for her doo, then planted a kiss on her man's lips. "I'm ready babe." Satin stood at attention and let Q place the expensive, pink half jacket on her shoulders. Facing Cassandra they both shared a wink as they took turns looking at Loni's red face. "See ya' girl." Satin said as Q took her by the hand and led her out the shop door.
As they stepped outside, the bright sun rays reflected upon them and the sleek, new, black Chryslr 300 that awaited them. Satin waited as Q unlocked the door. When she heard the "Clunk" of the lock unlock, she let her man grab her by the hand and lead her to the open car door. Before stepping inside, Satin looked around her environment. When her gray eyes landed across the street, she saw Anthony socializing with a couple other guys in front of a local barber shop starring at her. She gave hime a blank stare, rolled her eyes, and ducked inside the car. When the door shut she left the images of Anthony Cash behind.
