Cannibal sat behind a black executive desk in his plush, luxurious office as he listened to his lawyer on the other end. ". . . .I requested an appeal to his case, provided that he be released on house arrest and a fifty thousand dollar bail, that's the best they'd offer." Catherine, the lawyer explained.

"Great, but see if there willing to still negotiate." Cannibal answered dryly as the gold pen danced between his black fingers. As his lawyer continued speaking there was a knock at the door. Cannibal snapped his fingers, and at his command, one of the three bodyguards standing in the room went to go answer. When the door opened a young man in his late teens/adolescence years walked in. He stood at slight attention as the same body guard shut the door and moved over to search him.

When the bodyguard was done searching, he cleared his throat, a sign letting Cannibal know that the boy was clean. Cannibal looked over to the boy, held out his hand and motioned for the boy to come closer. Doing as Cannibal asked the boy moved closer and when he reached the desk, Cannibal pointed toward the chair in front of him and the boy sat down, patiently waiting for Cannibal to finish on the phone. "Alright Cat, I'll get up with you later, call me as soon as you here anything else." Cannibal told her and then hung up.

When the phone touched the base, Cannibal picked up the Black&Mild sitting in the ashtray, leaned back, took a drag of the cigar, and let the taste of wine flavored cotton exhale from his lips. "What did you do with my brother?"

"Excuse me?" Cannibal asked.

"You heard me, what did you do with Cash?" The boy asked.

Cannibal let out a slight laugh, then leaned forward and said, "Check that tone young blood, I don't take to kindly to demands, don't worry 'bout Cash he's fine, and if you play your cards right, everything will stay that way."

"What are you talking about? Play my cards right? Don't worry about him?" he questioned. "That's my brother, we haven't heard shit about him and tellin' me not to worry, my mother is worried, my family is worried." he said. "You know what, why am I even here, you don't know shit." he spat toward Cannibal.

Cannibal remained calm as he listened to the boy rant. Usually Cannibal woulda' busted a cap in anyone who dared talk to him like this, but in this case he made an exception. Cannibal looked to the side where he saw one of his bodyguards slowly reaching for his gun holster. Cannibal raised his hand, and the bodyguard retreated. "Go 'head shoot me! Without my brother I ain't shit!" the boy yelled in distress.

Cannibal watched as the boy sat back down in the chair. He waited a few seconds before asking his question. "Why are you here young one?"

"Because I heard what Fayette Cartel did to him, and how word on the street is you got him," he answered.

Cannibal examined the tall, dark skin fella' sittin' in front of him. He didn't seem like the thuggish type, but Cannibal knew his type; he was smart and with a little mentoring and manipulating, Cannibal knew he'd be a great asset toward his empire. "What is your name young blood?" Cannibal asked.

"Dontae," he answered bleakly.

"Well Dontae, I have your brother, and he's working for me now."

"What?. . .no he can't he needs out this shit forever." Dontae said.

"I don't think you understand, see I saved him from Fayette Cartel, those dirty bastards been planning this shit since forever, it's amazing it took this long, this always happens, when Dutch's and King fear that their higher ranking's can over throw them, they start plottin'," Cannibal said.

"What do you mean?" Dontae asked.

"I mean Dutch's and King thought of your brother as a threat so they hired a couple knuckleheads from their gang K2K to do a hit, a really bad one, because he survived, even without my help." Cannibal said. "I've been watching your brother ever since an intel of mine let me in on the info, your brother has the mind of a C.E.O someone I need."

"Enough of this, where is he?" Dontae asked impatiently.

"Calm down little one that info will come, I just need to know what are you willing to do for it?" Cannibal asked calmly.

Dontae knew exactly what Cannibal wanted. Dontae wasn't as "about that life" as his older brother was. He was one of the smart one's; college type, in no way was he drug/street type material. But slightly agreeing he said, "Depends on the job."

Cannibal smiled and then said, "I know you not the drug type, but with a little observance from your brother, provided all things with this hearing go excellent, you can learn and have a piece of this game. But, for right now, I need your brains, you're a smart young man, I need someone like you in the background."

"I can't."

"I think your mind will change."

"Oh yeah, how, you got nothin' I want, I can find my brother on my own." Dontae said.

"You can try, but it will be a dauntless task, and I'm sure when I'm done pitching my idea you and your family will be happy to join me." Cannibal stated in a cocky tone. Cannibal stood up as he said, "I'll give you the information as to where your brother is, provided you two switch over to my side, I have a once in a lifetime opportunity for the both of you."

"What is it?" Dontae asked.

"That part will be unlocked when Cash is here in the flesh." Cannibal told him. Cannibal leaned down and picked up a black case. He gently sat it on top of the desk in front of Dontae. "Everything you need to know for your first task is here, get your brother in and well talk, you can leave." he told Dontae. Dontae got up, grabbed the suitcase and walked to the door. Dantae looked toward Cannibal, who had his back toward him, and was facing the window. The bodyguard opened the door and rushed Dontae out of it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Dontae walked down the red carpet like corridor. He reached the main floor of the club and bypassed a stripper style school girl trying to grab his attention. He headed out the front doors and went down the street to a nearby sub shop. He entered inside and took a booth seat way in the back. He looked around the packed mid-day establishment as he cracked the case. To his surprise the case held nothing but stacks of paper, with words. On the side of the papers was a note written in red sharpie; THESE PAPERS ARE SPECIFIC DETAILS AS TO WHERE ANTHONY "CASH" SANTIAGO IS BEING HELD.

Dontae's first thought was to call the police, but when he flipped the card over and he saw the words :IF YOU CALL THE POLICE YOU'LL REGRET IT, he quickly dismissed the idea. Dontae couldn't afford to have anything else bad happen. He was left with no choice, he knew that when he reached Cash that he was gon' be all for it, he was left with no choice but to join Cannibal's clique.
