There was only ten minutes left to eight and, Evangeline, Elena and Bonnie were in the kitchen preparing dinner. To be honest they were taking dinner out of the boxes and hiding the evidences.
Bonnie was once again talking about her new found psychic abilities, trying to convince Elena that she did have witchy powers "You explain it. Last night, I'm watching Nine-o, a commercial breaks come on and I'm like, I bet it's that phone commercial. And sure enough, it's that guy and the girl with the bench, he flies to Paris and he flies back. They take a picture." She explains
Elena laughs, grabbing a bowl from the cabinet "Oh, come on. That commercial's on a constant loop." She says turning to her friend
Bonnie rolls her eyes and turns to Eve for support "I've got to agree with the twin on this one, sorry Bon" Eve says with a small smile. It was not like she didn't believe that her friend might have psychic powers but, Elena was right on that one, that commercial was constantly on, it was not much of a proof.
Bonnie sighs deeply "Fine. Well, how about this? Today I'm obsessed with numbers. 3 numbers. I keep seeing 8, 14, and 22. How weird is that?" she asks
Elena shrugs casually "Maybe we should play the lottery." She mocks
Eve laughs "not enough numbers, sadly" she adds sharing a smile with her twin
They both turn to Bonnie and instantly felt guilty by the sad look on her face "Have you talked to your Grams?" Elena asks with a soothing voice
Bonnie shakes her head "She's just gonna say it's because I'm a witch. I don't want to be a witch. Do you want to be a witch?" she asks turning to the twins, a slightly concern look crossing her face
Elena shakes her head quickly "I don't want to be a witch." She answers instantly
Hearing her best friend saying that hurt Bonnie, making her think that if she was indeed a witch she would accept her and, Eve, notice that on Bonnie pained look "I think that's pretty cool, mainly if I could clean my room with my mind" Evangeline jocks glad to see a tiny smile playing on her friends lips. Bonnie should know that both her, and her twin, would stay by her side no matter what.
Elena pours the, to- go, food into the bowl while Bonnie and Eve shake their heads, disapprovingly.
"And putting it in a nice bowl isn't fooling anybody." Bonnie points out with a mocking smile
Eve nods in agreement, "You know I could have cooked right?" she said. Eve had offered to cook but Elena said it was not necessary, 'I got everything under control' she said. 'well, between her sister cooking or to-go food the latest option is best ', Eve thought
Elena just rolls her eyes at her sister and turns to open a drawer "Ok, serving spoons. Where are the serving spoons?" she wonders out loud seeing that the spoons were not there.
"Middle drawer on your left." Bonnie informs quickly
Elena frowns but does as Bonnies instruct "oh my god" Eve exclaims when she sees the spoons right where Bonnie said they would be.
Elena shares a shocked look with her sister "Ok, so you've been in this kitchen like a thousand times." She said trying to justify what had just happened
Bonnie rolls her eyes "Yeah, that's it." She says with a hint of irony in her voice
The sound of the doorbell ringing cuts through the awkward silence that had fallen between the three of them.
Elena quickly straights up running a nervous hand through her hair "Ok, he's here. Don't be nervous." She said, and maybe she should follow her own advice because she was clearly freaking out "Just be your normal loving self." She advices Bonnie, placing the bowl of food on the table
