Chapter 21~ Walk away

Few days later....

(Y/n)'s POV

I'm on the car, heading towards the airport. I decided not to say goodbye to anybody because I'm afraid that I would be too sad to leave after. But I did gave them farewell gifts. I got all of my luggage and walked towards the check in machine. I checked myself in, and right before I walk into main door that leads to the actual check in place. I looked back. Hoping he would come running after me just like what those guys do in dramas. But who am I kidding, he's never going to come. He's probably spending all of his time with Angela. I thought to myself.

"Anything wrong?" My mother questioned.

"No, mom. Let's go," I said to her forming a smile on my face.

When I boarded the plane, I had my head back and closed my eyes. Then a stranger's voice spoke up next to me. "Hello," he greeted.

I open one of my eyes slowly, checking if it's a weirdo. Turns out he looks quite cute! "Hello," I responded.

"My name is Kevin," he said.

"My name is (y/n)," I replied.

The whole plane ride we just played 100 questions. It's kind of like the game 25 questions but since the plane ride is going to be long, we changed it to 100. Turns out we bother are going to America!

10 years later....

I'm walking around in the park getting some exercise. I got a major surgery last year, and it went very successful. I felt so relieved and free because I'm not sick anymore. I finally grew all of my hair out.

Just then I see a little boy crying all by himself. So I decided to approach him. "Hi little fella, are you lost?" I questioned him.

He went in for a hug, not answering my question. "Awe, it's okay. It's okay." I said while patting his back. I pulled out from the hug so I can look at his face. I got a tissue from my bag, and started to while his tears away.

"Okay, now can you tell me your name?" I said.

"*sniff* J-*sniff* ohn," he said.

"So John, do you know what your daddy or mommy looks like? So I can help you look for them around the park," I questioned him.

"My da has dak hair and he's toll. He's very handsome," he said to me.

Surprisingly he pronounce the word handsome correct. But anyways, I looked around the park... almost everybody has dark hair. And I don't know what he means by "handsome" since kids have a different perspective.
"How about your mom?" I asked, hoping this might help.

"She has very long hair. She's toll but not very toll. Has dak hair too and very prewtty like you," he described.

"Awe thank you," I was flattered but everybody still look like they could be his mom or dad.

"John! John!" A man called out.

I turned my head to look at where the voice is coming from. "Is that your dad?" I pointed to him.

"Ya! Daddy!" He yelled, and ran to him.

"Where have you been! I've been looking everywhere for you! I told you not to follow the ducks!" He said to him.

"I'm sowwy," John apologizes and looked down. 

"Okay now lets go, mommy is waiting at home for us," he said taking John by the hand.

"Wait," John said. He wrapped his around me giving me a hug. "Tank you," he said.

"No problem, now listen to your dad okay?" I chuckled.

"(Y/n)!" Kevin yelled from behind. He waved his hand from afar, telling me he's here.

Author's POV

When John's dad heard your name, he looked up. He recognized this name. So he turned and looked at you. He was shocked to see you. After all these years, he was surprised to still be able to meet you.

That's when you decided to look at him because you caught him staring at you. It caught you by surprise because it was Karry.

There was no words being exchanged. John held Karry's hand started to walk away. This scene looks just like when Angela linked her arms with his and walked away. Just like what happened 10 years ago. John waved a goodbye to you but you are too dumbfounded to return on.

Karry glanced back at you, but he couldn't say a word. His feelings never left for you nor did your's towards him.

Kevin came running towards you," lets go, we still have to go to your mom's house remember?"

"Oh-okay." You said, turning away from the father and son.

You walked to Kevin's car but You kept looking back. There were so much you wanted to tell him but it was all too late. He was someone else's already.

People make choices everyday. Choices are the ones that cause us to regret. Just like when you both decided to walk away from the love you guys both once shared.

Well that's a wrap! Yes it is true, we had finally reached to the end of this story! This was actually my first FF,and I really hope you guys liked it! This story is actually very special to me because it help me make new friends! My first chapter was published on August 7, 2015! Thank you all for walking with me on this journey. And super shoutout to the ones who stayed with me all the way to the end! I sometimes question if I really want to continue this story, but it's you guys who have me motivations! Thank you!
