"UGH!" I ran pass my mother who just came out from the kitchen while holding a tray of cookies and tea. I ran towards my old room, going upstairs.

"(Y/n), you are going to America to get this treatment done because I can't lose you, you are the only thing I have left," my mother said with sorrow.

It's not that I don't want to leave, it's just there are some... stuff... I don't want to leave behind yet. But I think it's for the best.

"Mom, when are we leaving?" I asked

KARRY's POV
*door knocking*

"Go away," I yelled.

"Honey, it's mom. Can you please open the door? I know this decision isn't what you favor, but it's for the best. You'll thank your dad in the future, I promise you. You know how your dad is, he isn't the best at talking. So please don't stay mad at him. I'll give you some alone time so you can think. Just remember, I'll be here if you need someone to talk to." My mother said from the other side of the door. Soon I heard foot steps and then it was gone.

I thought about my dad's decision. But it's not what I want... Why can they consider my happiness over their's? Maybe all this is just a dream? What if I just go to sleep and when I wake up everything will go back to how it is?

I laid on my bed and decided to take a nap. Hoping all this will be gone when I wake up.

(Y/n)'s POV

"We will leave in two weeks. I want you to stay in the hospital for daily check ups," my mother said.

2 more weeks. Just 2 more weeks, my life will begin all over again. Just 2 more weeks......

That night I couldn't sleep. I kept on rolling on my bed, my brain is clouded with stuff I couldn't keep my mind off of. Maybe if I count from 100-0 I'll be able to fall asleep.

"Ugh I CANT sleep," I jumped from up my bed and decided to go on my phone.
I went through my contacts, looking at the list of names to see who I can talk to. The I came across a name.. I don't remember having his number. It was Karry's. My thumb hovered over the call icon, wondering if I should tell him goodbye or....

*ring* *ring* *ring*
Caller ID: Serena

I pressed the answer button," YOU'RE GOING TO AMERICA!?!?" Serena asked in a panic voice.

"Um, yeah.."

"Why didn't you tell me!?!? Your mom came by and told Maria and I."

"I'm sorry, there were a lot of stuff on my head. I guess I just drifted off into my thoughts, and I just forgot," I explained to her.

The rest of the conversation were just about what's going to happen when I'm in America and that I need to call them everyday.

"Are you going to tell Karry that you're leaving?" Serena asked out of the blue.

".... no... I rather him not know about this," I replied.

"Okay, I'll tell Maria to keep it as a secret. But can I ask why?"

"It's complicated. Long story short, I think I'm developing feelings for him and I to get rid of them. I think it's best for me to leave in peace."

"Awe."

We just kept on talking until I got tired and we said our goodbyes and ended it. I went back to lay on my bed and drifted to sleep.

Karry's POV

I woke up from my so called "nap," when I heard knocks from my door.

"Honey, are you reading to talk now?"

It was my mother. Dang it, it wasn't a dream. I sighed and walked to the door. I opened it up and met my mom. I hugged her and I guess she was surprised by my move. But she hugged me back too. "Mom, I missed you."

"What are you talking about, didn't you just saw me earlier?" His mother said while chuckling.

"Can I please be 8 years old again, when life was easier and stress free?"

"You're a big boy now, don't put too much pressure on yourself. Your mother will always be there along the way for you." She comforted me.

"You know what mom, I'm going to make you and dad proud."

"How so?"

"I agree to the arranged marriage."
